Wow ------ OK then I have a friend on my 360 his name is Liberty he works with sleep disorders and dreams. I can tell you that dreams are only mere thoughts in your mind. dreaming is our mind arranging thoughts we have. It does so at such a rapid pace that we often have visions these visions are flashes of memories from things we have seen. our most recent thoughts drive the dream. OK for example just before you went to sleep lets say you took a bath -- then chances are water will be in your dream.
Harvard did a test on dream control and found out that body position determined the type of dream you have - if you sleep on your right side closest to the bed you will have normal dreams if you sleep with your left side closest to the bed you will have nightmares on your back a dream of falling or out of control dream and on your belly the dream of flying or controlled dream where your superior over everything in your dream.

I have never heard that the time when you dream has to do anything with it's possibility to be true or come true. I do know that REM (Rapid Eye Movement) happens mostly when we are drifting off to sleep and also when we are about to wake up. They also say that this is the time in our sleep when we have the majority of our dreams. Did you know that we have several dreams each night but sometimes don't even remember one? Hence, people claiming they "didn't have any dreams last night." And you know how dreams can sometimes seem like the last forever? The average dream is around 30 seconds...

Many of my dreams that I have right before waking are prophetic dreams BUT they are never nightmares per se. Don't take the dream literally but think about what it can symbolize. This morning I had a dream about my Uncle and found out finally how he makes his living. Something I have not known and he wouldn't say for 20 years. Now I know.

Do not believe everything you here! Dreams are a product of things that our mind processes that have not been dealt with in the waking day. It is not correct that the dream you remember before you wake is going to come true. You have just had a nightmare that has made you feel extremely anxious.

Same here, I was taking a mid morning nap and had a dream that I had been bit on the thigh by a big dog, it's teeth were clamped down on my thigh so tight that I couldn't move. All kinds of people were trying to get this dog to let me go, then two nurses were helping me to my bed and I was limping and had an I.V. in my arm. My husband woke me up because he heard me crying from the other room, I woke up in tears, with pain in my leg and arm. It seemed so real. I was really upset for a while.

This is so not true.
I always have my worst dreams just before waking up (and I have some doozies).
Everything from my children being dead in their beds, my dead mother coming back in my dreams to warn me of impending danger, people I love turning into aliens, I am in need of help and I am to scared to scream to get help, and there are more and worse than that.
Please do not put any "faith" into these dreams.
