I am having my wisdom teeth removed this morning; however, last night I had two alcoholic beverages- one beer, one glass of wine- and then realized the dangers in my decision. What will happen when they give me an IV? Will I be ok?

Ask your doctor but if it was before midnight...u should be fine...

i could assume it has greater to do with any medicine you're on for the soreness. in case you have stopped taking the medicine i do no longer see why it could be counted. except the alcohol will dry out the section after which you're able to get dry sockets that's fairly painful. i could verify to establish if via fact of this they choose you to stay faraway from it. i understand they inform you to no longer use a straw or smoke hence and all people that i understand that did it besides ended up with severe soreness for over each week via fact of dry sockets. my very own experience grow to be painless yet i did no longer do something I wasn't meant to...

I had a tooth extracted few weeks ago and I had a big hangover from the night before, a serious one.

Nothing special happens except that they needed 5 injections of anestesic. They told me it was because of the alcohol...

I don't think there is a big danger.

You will probably bleed a little more than normal. But, if you are healthy don't worry about it. If you are still worried, ask the doctor.

they just say that so you won't bleed as much. You're just gonna bleed a little bit longer than norm. Not a real big deal.
