In High School and beyond. I am having some doubting issues. School starts in a week and I really want to do my very best so that I can have a good future.

well basically it just boils down to one word: study
you just have to do all tutorials, practicals perhaps and study for tests. consult your friends or teachers if there are questions.
it's kind of a step by step basis so when the exams come, you do not need to study that hard.
and of course, luck does count.

Study, study, study. Also speak with the teacher frequently... it shows that you are interested in their course and in earning top notch grades. Teachers eat up that attention and it builds their egos. Ask and answer lots of questions in class and when it comes to homework do it in advance and have the teacher proof-read papers. Also take lots of notes in class.
