I had a realtionship where I use to think love was more important than what a guy had but I found out the hard way, they don't respect you when you do get with them with nothing. I never wanted to be a gold digger or use a guy, I just wanted love but ever since I got out of this 7 year realtionship, I'm scared of being used again. I never asked for nothing but I never got nothing thats for sure, not even flowers...he ended up stopping going to work and I realize where I went wrong.

I guess if you get with someone with nothing, they don't respect you as a pose to the girl who will have nothing to do with them for haveing nothing. Please help me, I'm very confused. I have wasted 7 years of my life on someone who had no intenion of returning love to me.

Guess my real question is , if a guy gets with a girl who don't want nothing from him, she has her own car, home, ect. she has more than him persay, why is it then, just for looking for love not money, we get the bad end of the deal usually? Do guys like more of a changle that way?

Im in d same shoes with u.I was with my ex bf when he had nothing in his medical sch.when he graduated,he visited his bro abroad and never got in touch with me again.
I heard from sources he's back so i called only for him to give me flimzy excuses.in short,we broke up last year i felt like trash when we broke up.I was so bitter i swore not to date a guy with nothing again.
Ive moved on though,not in any relationship now,but i decided to figure out possible reasons that made him change and to work towards a better relationship in future.

Maybe... what you expect and what he has got to offer are not the same. You want love and maybe he wants security.
Do you come off as being too independent? As a guy, I find it intimidating when a girl is too independent, and it makes it harder for me to "want" to please her.
In the end, I believe he started the relationship with passion but ended it with habit.
So you got taken for granted which is sad but, on the sunny side to things at least now you can find yourself a guy who'll get you the flowers.
Oh! and cheer up :)

There are good guys out there. Dont give up hope but forget about this guy. I buy my woman flowers even when I dont have the money to do it sometimes. Keep trying sweetie. True love is out there

you just need to find somone that respects you. and wanting a gift or flowers dont make you a gold digger, u just wanted some attention from him.

wow..do I ever know what your talking about...I think it's best to date someone who is like you are..obviously a worker..someone who has goals of their own...someone who doesn't change jobs every other week...that's a telling sign...things like that...don't go for someone who has nothing..or you'll end up with nothing...just ask me..Im working my way up...again...but I've learned alot so I'm not upset about it...

You've gotta demand for respect and love from that man.....if he doesn't respect your opinion or take you for granted, you've gotta move on. It's more important to find a man who places you above himself.
