I like to think of it as a test, that if you can live your life for God then you can reap the rewards of Heaven, although that in itself is not a reason for following God, as many atheists think.
Many people want to turn their backs on them, and that is fine, we have free choice and if they do not want to have eternal life etc etc then that is their choice.

Simply because we are born into existence. Our senses merely follow senses objects from the external. There is nothing much we can do to not experience life. Experiencing it in this way causes our more pain and suffering, unless we know how the mechanics of mind and body function together.
Take care.

Read books and you can only believe what it tells you. Experience it yourself and you will understand. What you learn in experience applies to future encounters and influence your decision.
