I read a whole section in my new book about sociology about a lot of issues that’s really interesting. I read that alcohol makes a man become braver to talk to women and they can become aggressive after being rejected by women. Do you think that’s true?

I'm a bartender, believe me it's true. But the same is true for women also. Granted, everyone does have a pretty different reaction to alcohol, based on individual personalities, what they drink, how much they drink, etc., but for the most part it will make everyone bolder, louder, more aggresive and more obnoxious than when they started. I always say that it doesn't change peoples' personalities, but it actually brings out the true side of people that we can only control when we are sober!

Yes alcohol makes a generally makes a person less inhibited, not just braver when it comes to approaching women. It has been proven that TOO MUCH alcohol does make a person respond less to common sense and cause them to react emotionally which may end up with them being violent or abusive sometimes without thinking. It clouds their judgment too when it comes to performing menial tasks like driving which is why drink driving is illegal.

There are cases too of people resorting to drinking themselves drunk when they get rejected inorder to forget their troubles, it keeps them high in a sense, a false sense of happiness. Not all turn abusers when they get rejected. It depends on the character and amount of alcohol too sometimes. But there are health benefits as well. And sometimes it works when you need a little bit of courage to as a girl out but not too much.

Yes. I think alcohol affects men and women the same as far as being braver. Men tend to naturally be aggressive whether rejected or not.
