In all honesty you don't. You just have to have trust in your instinct's and by the way he act's towards you and looks at you etc. It's a lot of little things like that, that tells you it's for real. GL

Well, from the lack of any background info into the relationship, I can only assume that you don't know if he truly loves you cause he creates doubts in your mind. Which inversely means that he either really stinks at showing his love for you or that means that he doesn't love you. The only way for you to know if he truly loves you is through his actions that show you that he loves you and that can only happen by dating him for a long time.

You know, from my experience, it all depends on if you love yourself. Guys can pick up on the self esteem status of any female even if they aren't aware of it. They tend to go for the confident, out-going type of girl that has at least one of their interest. If this is not the case, then they are more than likely an abusive person who will start to use you as a punching bag. Get away from him as quick as possible!
