As u said, my COUNTRY - forever n each time!
God wants us 2 b good human beings.A gud human is compassionate, peace-loving, generous, honest, patriotic,..............
So by choosing ur country, u're actually going closer 2 God than by choosing Him.
It is said in Sanskrit, "The glory of ur Mother n Motherland is gr8er than the glory of heaven."
Frm ur archives I can make out that u r an Indian. Isn't it said by God Himself - " Mata, Pita, Guru, Deva" ,i.e., "Mother,Father, Teacher n then God" V call our country Mother India (Bharat Mata); so isn't She supreme?
In Islam, v all r brothers n sisters but 4 me, 1st all Indians r brothers n sisters.Unfortunately, what EastMed is right.Allah is supreme but I believe Allah wants me 2 b a gud human being. So any day, I'd choose my country over my religion.
Mustafa said country come n go. Come n go? Not at all. Country gives u ur id. n ur religion ur way of life.Isn't id gr8er than ur way of life? Monk Mst said religion will take him to heaven. No! It's not religion but the way u follow religion which'll take u 2 heaven.Do u think osama will go 2 heaven just b'coz he's a Muslim? No, he'll go 2 jahannum (hell).Knowing that v all r bothers n sisters in Islam, y do Shias n Sunnis kill each other? If olny they had a sense of nationality, they wud've stopped it.
EastMed, any n every time I'd prefer my non-Muslim, Indian neighbour to another Muslim in Honululu.
Peace n glory be to my gr8 country INDIA!

This is a scary question. What's scary is that most people answering country or religion will say that they would die to defend it. Which means that these arbitrary ideas are more important to them than their own lives. And once someone is willing to give their own lives for an idea, it's not such a big leap to say that this idea is more important than others' lives as well.

How about believing in doing what's right by your fellow human beings, regardless of whether it's contradictory to what your country, or your religion, or what anyone else tells you. Why submit your ethics and morals to any authority? Do you really think you don't already know the difference between right and wrong?

Religion.
Because Religion can always include the country, but country may not always include the religion

My religion & country

Neither, but if I have to pick one, Country beats religion any time, simply because country is real while religion is B.S.

The answer should always be your Country.

Too bad some Muslims prefer their Muslims brother in Honolulu better than their non-Muslim neighbours, but that's in their religion, nothing can be done to convince them otherwise.

Love and Peace for all.
