i had a dream last nite that i was re-living memories from in between summer 2004 and april 2005 that were very special times for me, that i know will never happen again because of certain things and people that have passed out of my life...either temporarily or forever...what could this mean (about the dream)? and for sum very weird reason kurt cobain was in it...idk...that coulda been a different dream lol...

I think that sometimes when we can't see certain people or re-experience certain things we have a hard time letting go. Maybe the Kurt Cobain was a way of your sub conscience telling you to let it go because like good ol Kurt they ain't coming back.

First of all, I am not sure who Kurt Cobain was/is. However, reliving your memories in the past could be triggered by something you have seen, felt in the current time. You have to know that summer is over, it is no surprise you thought of one summer that went great in the past. On the contrary, it is hard for you to dream of winter time during Summer.

perhaps you just missed those memories that happened to you between summer 2004 and april 2005.
it feels good though reminiscing moments that happened to us previously, it enables us to savor the good feeling of having that experience altogether.
And kurt cobain in your dreams? perhaps you've missed his songs, or you have a desire for him, or something like that. Otherwise, you're just doing good....nothing to worry...

as you said it's because you enjoy that moment very much and you wanna relive it real life but can't due to your story. so you relive it in your dreams. it happens to me once awhile, as i enjoy the moments with my friends about 10 yrs ago and now i am far away from them (miles away) and i do relive those moments in my dreams some of the days and i feel kinda sad and happy when i wake up.
for kurt cobain, it's just some memory of you inside about him and it just turn out. may be you was listening to his songs during that period of time. it's nothing special,really.
