I use the Max-OT work-outs from AST Sports Science. They are short and intense.
I used anabolics in the 80's and the closest gains I've gotten to using them are the Hi-Tech Muscle & Strength products. Take a look at Ananvar, Dianabol and Metanabol.
Yes, I do well with ephedra for fat loss too. However, as of Aug. 18, it is banned AGAIN. Get it, if you can...

first, you can use creatine and protein shakes.
secondly, if you want to bulk up do maybe 10-15 reps with a 50 lb weight rather than 30-40 reps with a 20 lb weight.
try going to the gym everyday.
and eat lots of food with lots of protein and good things like for example:
chicken, fish, red meats(not too often though, not good for the heart),just basically everything a vegan/vegetarian wouldnt eat ^_^
it takes a long time though, my brother has been working at his build for about....2-3 years.but then again he plays defensive lineman for a really good college team ^_^
AND DONT USE STEROIDS OR BANNED SUBSTANCES!
theyre banned for a reason and steroids eventually lead to heart failure.

Look up 'static contraction training'. It is the most efficient and fastest system of training. NOTE correct callibration of your muscle is essential though.
