I have no friends. I try hard to get on people's good side but they are just to hard! All my friends and best friends are back in my old school. I really want to go back but my mom is not giving in. I hate my teachers there too. They always act all snooty. I want to fit in because I got the whole school year to finish. My friends back in my old school keep telling me to hang on, that they will help me in what ever way they can. I am even having a harder time because I'm lazy!!!! The school I go now is like, too much, i gotta be responsible, i'm talking hella responsible, i gots to be all disciplined too. I just hope you guys could come up with some answers to help me through this and hopefully go back to my old school. Plus, my mom and i aren't as close as we were no more. I'm a sophomore, smack down in the middle of high school, you gotta help a sistah out pleazzzze. peace, ayt.

Do what your mother AND EVEN YOUR FRIENDS are encouraging you to do. Do your work at school and if you don't like the people, wait until after school to hang with your friends. Your mother is trying to help you stop being the lazy and irresponsible person that YOU say you are (in your question)! If you do not improve now, by the time you are 21, you will be fat, lazy, stupid and broke and even your old friends won't like you. Grit your teeth and finish this school and you'll be HOT!! Good luck . . .

Two solutions:
Go back to the old school. Tell her about all of your emotional distress at this new school. She will probably say It's just jitters. Give it some time. So you may want to give it another week or cut a deal. I'll try my best to fit in for 2 weeks but if things still haven't changed, then I get to go back to the old school. And really try to fit in to the new school. Look at it as another opportunity to make friends because you will still have your old friends. Were all the kids snooty? I find that hard to believe that there isn't at least one kindhearted individual.

Make this new school a good place to be for yourself. This requires time but join a club and you should be able to make friends there. Responsiblility comes with age. Sometimes, we just have to accept that. I'm a lazy student myself but at times, you just need to fet off messenger and work or fail. Smile, be yourself, say hello and ask people about themselves. Find another person who doesn't seem to fit in and make friends with them.

Good luck. I hope whatever happens is the best for you and your mom.

I've been there.

The best thing I can say is, grin and bear it. Your parents are the ones with the cards. Going along with what they want is usually easier, in the long run, than fighting with them.

I say this because I fought tooth and nail with my parents over everything and it really sucked.

Is there a reason your parents made you change schools? Have you done something that got their attention? Or are they just trying to prevent that from happening?

You have described yourself to be lazy, irresponsible, undesciplined. Wow my dear you need to be the opposite of all that to fit in. Your change of environment is good for you because in industry you wil meet different people who may require more from you. So like your friends have said,Hold on. Learn to learn.

Do as you're told. Grow up, learn to accept change, and stop complaining. Your attitude isn't making things any easier for you, or your mother.

first find the reason why your mom want you to change school. if new school is better then join it. you can make new friends soon in new school too.
if your old school is also good then explain your mom that you want to remain in your old school.
but first find out why your mom want you to send you to new school. just ask her nicely may be she agrees with you.
