hows the progress of, the number of people embracing Islam in your country, doing?

Question

despite the poor image the west is trying to paint about Islam, we still hear of even popular people reverting to Islam.
( "revert" because every child is born muslim until they reach an age of understanding )
I just wonder how's the spread of this beautiful faith in different parts of the world today, hearing about it being the fastest growing faith in the world.

You chose, a wrong plate form for a beautiful topic, you may get mostly rubbish & some insulting answers.
It certainly was the fastest growing religion till the take-over of Afghanistan by Talibans. Those days I was in UK.
The biased media started compaign against Islam by showing the Barbarism, backwardness & cruelties of the talibans with a secret messege that 'IF YOU BECOME A MUSLIM YOU WILL BECOME LIKE THEM".
Ironically, The Mullahs & some influential Muslims in UK and around the world also loudly supported the Talibans & their actions & claiming it to be the true Islam with a secret messege, "IF YOU DON'T BECOME LIKE THEM, YOU WILL NOT BE A TRUE MUSLIM".
All this sadely slowed down the revertion rate.

The truth is never hidden you just sometimes choose not to see and when you wish to notice it might just be too late Islam is here for peace and no matter what people say or do about Islam, all I have to say is the truth is in the Quran. Assalamlaiku

very sad ,Muslim want other to become Muslim, some one was calming Muslim religion is growing very fast while other said Muslim may be growing but Islam is diminishing as no Muslim in now days real understand how peace loving the Islam religion is and when you have fanatic like AL-quida who want to bomb their own country then it is better to stop and look what should we become Muslims or true islamist.

Know what ...I havent heard anything bout "spreading of Islam" even tho i have heard bout "Christianity"... the islamic law doesnot care bour women in most countires esp. countries like Saudi Arabia.....& then there r evidences that prove that islamic countries r behind most of the terrorism. Do u know bout the Sania Mirza controversy?

Al hamdu lillah! I said shahada 1 year ago and meet sisters a couple times a month who have done the same! I live in a very small town , 10,000 people and this year atleast 6 people here have taken shahada....

growing by choice? or force?

The choice of death or conversion isn't exactly a good choice.
Any faith which forces people to choose in that way, isn't a true faith. I have read the Quran, it is a wonderful book. But the way it is spread is something to worry about.

Islam is just as silly as any other religion. The Qur'an has errors; it follows that it cannot be the word of god. There are lots of Muslims in the US, just as deluded as Muslims in any other country.

well it does not matter if a person is a muslim. any person can be a muslim.

if u help the needy
if u desire for ur brother what u desire for urself
if u are patient, enduring and helpful to all mankind
if u do not commit a sin
if u prevent urself from, killing, stealing and lying, fornication

does it matter if u r a good christian, a good muslim or good hindu, good buddhist or good jain. wat matters most is if u r a good human or not.

by looking at the amount of "true followers of prince of peace jesus christ" bashing islam id say the number is increasing very fast
some of them go even as far as trying to justify to kill all the muslims in their own country

Nigeria used to be predominantly Muslim. Now it is predominantly Christian. Christianity is growing exponentially.
