I was Baptized Orthodox, but was raised Catholic/that is where my beliefs lie. Can I still go to Confession or will I have to go through Confirmation first?

If I am in your disposition, the kind of baptism that was administered to me would certainly bear more significance over how I was raised.

As it is, and being a Catholic myself, the church does not restrict you to go to confession being a catholic. Only that, confirmation should come first. After that, then you can proceed with your being a Catholic.

Just one advise though, you need to assure yourself with the kind of faith that you would like your life to be dependent on. I'm sure you wouldn't want any confusion in the middle, because once it happens, you will begin questioning not only yourself, but the beliefs you have acquired in time, and suddenly, the very faith that you have learned.

It will be a dilemma, and it's gonna be hard for you to change whatever you have learned while you were growing up, or whatever was taught on you. Paradigm shift doesn't happen overnight.

Cheers dude!

The catholic church recognizes the validity of the Orthodox sacraments and you are most probably already confirmed or chrismated since the do that directly after baptism in the Eastern Churches.

Just go to confession it'll do you good.

Yes you can go to confession, confirmation is recommended but not required. It is an added grace and it would be a good idea to seek it but meanwhile you can go to confession. The Catholic church considers Orthodox members part of the church of the eastern rite and accepted to engage in communion with us.

Baptism is first. Confession is before receiving the Eucharist, which currently is before Confirmation.

Darling,All you have to do is accept Jesus, confess your sins & be baptized in the name of the father, son & holy ghost!
Baby baptisms are no good, because babies are innocent until they get big enough to know right from wrong!
Jesus said,"No one commeth to the Father, but by me!"That means that "dead"people cannot hear your prayers or give messages to God for you!
Why make salvation so complicated? If ppl are gonna do that, then it did God no good to send Jesus to us!

You can go but it is a Catholic sacrament, as i'm sure you know. But you can go to get something off your chest if you wanted and ask for a blessing.
