I been recently feeling like i'm in the gutter all the time...
its like all my friends're striving for improvement while i let time pass and let myself down by letting golden opportunities become rotten pasts.
i wanna be a high achiever... i dream big.. in times when i'm highly motivated, i get better grades than the best student in class, but i don't know why sometimes i get so lack of motivation that i just sit there and do things that doesn't add a sense of achievement to my life. like surfing the net, wasting time instead of doing my work.
so far, i'm fat, haven't got my driver's license, slacking but yet feel guilty to hangout with friends when i haven't done my homework which i at the end end up not doing any homework for not going out.
what should i do? i went to my counsellor before but i guess i haven't provide her with enough details... i'm planning to note down my "symptoms" and let her read it.
what's wrong with me? i hate it so much yet i'm doing it

You are what you make yourself. You can want and cry all day its not going to change anything. Tomorrow get up and make yourself change. You are smart you know what you need to do, so do it. You just are feeling down give it some time you will feel better. You will start to feel a lot better the sooner you start to change what is making you feel bad.

OK I'm not a Dr but I do remember being depressed all the time when I was a teenager and I'm presuming you are one. I know it's easier said than done but you can't expect things to just happen and not do them.
Although it could be depression it sounds more like lack of confidence and putting priorities in order. Homework is more important than hanging out with your friends you need to get in the habits of taking on your responsibilities and following them through. Slacking off won't get you a job or into a good school. Talk to your councilor about depression, time management and confidence building.
Truthfully it doesn't sound like anything is really wrong with you just a typical teenager.

First of all, every one at first is same, slowly and slowly you can change the ways, not in sudden, I know when i have such problems, i use to read career of famous achieers, how they did that, what were their planning in life used to, where am i diffrent, so when you would know where you are lacking, surprisingly it ll motivate you to change that, To be an achiever, working hard is very important, it includes thinking positivve always that you can do this,
Now if you think you are fat or any other problems, you should start doing efforts to get rid of that, when you don't do efforts it will bring all the negative things in your mind

I feel the same way at times, but instead of feeling poorly and comparing yourself to others you need to focus on yourself. Make a list of the things you do like about yourself and focus on those good aspects. Then you need to focus on what you don't like and change them one by one. I am in the same boat and trying to accomplish this myself. Let me know how it goes.

Don't think about it so much. You will find what you love eventually just do what you enjoy at the moment. And don't worry about not having a drivers licence I still don't have one and I'm 29.

sounds like, your looking for some approval and not getting it. if you look inward for self approval it will last a whole lot longer. others will admire and give what you want. do it for you, no-one else. if you are happy with what you do, nothing else will matter. go or it. only you have the power. I know you can do it, if you want to. wish I could give you a smiley here. :)

sweets is on the right track. many people suffer from depression and don't know it. Maybe you should seek professional help. There is no stigma attached to wanting to be healthy.

might be depression. it's a medical condition.
vitamins help --b12s and vitamin c and a good multi (I get mine at gnc)
might wanna see a doctor a psychiatrist specifically.and get checked out for it. can be a mild case and still affect your life.
