actually the normal heart beat is between 60-100, above or below is abnormal and it is recommended to get EKG with a MD.
do u drink a lot of coffee, tea, other caffeinated beverages? if so u need to slow them down, heart beat could be fastened by those.
if u dont, than definitely check urself out. heart doesn't have to be exhausted faster than it needs to.

It is important to remember that your heart rate varies depending on when it is measured and what you were doing immediately before the reading. Allowing for this, the heart rates listed below are considered to be normal.
Adults normally have a heart rate of 60-90 bpm (beats per minute) while resting. In the first year of life, the average heart rate is 120-160 bpm, and by the age of l2, it has usually fallen to 70-80 bpm. A child's heart rate continues to fall as he or she reaches adulthood.
What's the maximal exercise heart rate?
The fastest heart rate that you can reach is known as the maximal heart rate. It's highest in childhood and gets lower with age. The maximal heart rate of a 20 year old when exercising is around 200 bpm, whereas a 60 year old has a maximal heart rate of around 160 bpm.
To work out your own maximal heart rate you need to do a simple calculation. You subtract your age in years from the maximal heart rate of 220 bpm e.g. 220-40 = 180 bpm.
During exercise, your heart rate should reach no more than 60–75% of the maximal heart rate that you've calculated. To ease yourself into exercise, it's best to have substantial warm up and cool down sessions.

no, that's pretty high. children's heartbeats are around 100, and it should get slower as you get older. an adult's heartbeat should be between 60-85. mine is usually between 85 and 90, and it's considered high for my age (22). your cardiovascular system is not in shape. please see your doctor. you also might want to consider adding cardio to your workout regimen, or starting one. also talk to your doc about that.

polka-toad is incorrect in the last part of her statement. if you are active, your heartbeat should be slower. the heart is a muscle, and the stronger it gets, the harder it pumps on each pump, so the less often it needs to pump. very active people have heartbeats around 50.

it depends on when you measure the heartbeat..if you just finish exercise, it would be quite normal that u're heartbeat is faster..
the best time to count your heartbeat is when you are resting (preferably, right after you wake up from a sleep)
the average would be 72 beats per minute but if you lead an active lifestyle it would be higher as your body need more oxygen to undergo metabolic reaction more..

it depends, worth going to your doctor, sometimes you can be put on a tablet known as a beta blocker to slow it down, there are different types of heart rhythms and there is most no call to worry, but let your doc just check, end of the day they are the experts.

Seems high to me - my at-rest heartbeat is 66.

Found your information interesting, though. You gave your weight in metric, but your height in feet/inches as opposed to meters/cetimeters.
