Like anything, you can buy good travel insurance and bad travel insurance. I recommend you stick with a "brand name". TravelGuard International is the industry leader and they are not overly expensive. You can get more information from an interesting and easy-to-use site. Go to http://www.wavehelp.com/travel-medical/index.htm and click on the red phone booth to read about "Worldwide Health" insurance. It covers health issues as well as trip interruption issues. You can easily buy on-line.
To avoid any possible conflict of interest, I recommend that you buy your travel insurance from a source different from your transport arrangements.
Best wishes.

First off, get it. Too many things can go wrong, especially in today's political/economic climate. The amount you need will vary depending on what you need. I've always recommended at least cancellation insurance to my clients when they booked packages. Check with your credit card companies and homeowners insurance, and medical insurance policies, many of those will cover claims from travel, depending on where the travel is to, etc. Many credit card companies will also offer travel insurance of some variety when you pay for a trip with their card. Do your homework so that you don't pay twice for the same thing, be an informed consumer.

All I can say is DO IT!
Anything can happen, flight cancellation, problems with the aircraft ect.
I have worked for a company through apple vacations and it was winter charter season in wisconsin...
There was snow, snowstorms, extreme maintenece delays, ect. customs problems.
Anything can happen.
ou break your leg, you are scared to fly, someone died and you have to go to the funeral, trip got cancelled.
I have seen it soooooo many times, save yourself and get insurance, anything can happen, if nothing bad happens your lucky and you had backup
alot of people dont want to spend the extra money, but when something bad happens they go to the travel agent and say HEY I WANT MY MONEY BACK and the travel agent wont do diddely squat!

Why do you in basic terms have 3 to % between? the vehicle and house proprietor's industry is quite aggressive. There are hundreds of companies in the rustic merchandising those lines. State Farm is the main important vehicle and abode insurer in the rustic. because of the fact the main important, they frequently have the backside expenditures (because of the fact they might unfold the possibility around the main...good for customers). Amica and USAA (the two for vehicle insurance) have the optimal client satisfaction scores. inventive and GEICO are being very cost aggressive because of the fact each and each desires to income industry proportion top now. not one of the three you stated are time-commemorated for being aggressively dating industry proportion, meaning you will likely get greater desirable bargains with different companies.
