I hate Whiskey, but on the other hand I have a friend that can drink whiskey and down some beer at the same time....yeah she pukes the next day..and I tell her ...what I tell you about doing so many shots of whiskey

None of these are true--it's the amount of alcohol, not the type, that makes you sick. (the one exception is cheap red wine--the sulfides make for painful hangovers).
That said, I think most of these statements come from the fact that if you're drinking one type of alcohol, and you switch to another, you're already impaired, so you're more likely to misjudge how much you've had and how much you can handle.

I think whiskey is spelled like this, and I think beer after whiskey is risky cause you pukey pukey.
