You have graduated from ex to booty call, this means he values your friendship, but doesnt love you, and he still wants to get in your pants, as well as the pants of others without feeling guilty of cheating!

Well, if he is telling u that he likes you more than a friend, than that is crossing past the friendship line, no other way to say it, so him saying he doesn't want to date you is basically saying "I need a booty call", to have sex with you without the relationship bullcrap that comes with it. The other fact is that its coming from your ex. Either you want him to be with you, or not. If you are okay with what he does want (booty call) and you won't be affected or get sucked in with feelings towards it, then that is your choice to make, but it could end up good, or painful. My advice to you is to give him a choice, to either be with you, or not, and if not, then move on, there is alot more out there than you think.

If he was really into you, he would want to date you again. Since he doesn't want to date you he's just using you for a booty call. I say tell him if he doesn't want to date you then just be friends with him and find someone else who can't wait to go out with you.

just as he said he is confused. if you like him too express it to him and if need be wait. if you don't like him just don't worry about it...
if you do like him make sure it isn't just because he likes you but rather you truely have feelings for him. you don't want to get hurt in the future.

it means youare his back up plan when he can not get laid but you are there willing to hope that he will run, but only to make his sperm deposit and leave you hanging, loose him, you can do better
