I am a Muslim who also believe that Jesus(peace be upon him) will return just before the end of times.

Prophet Muhammad(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told us the Jesus(peace be upon him) will have a redish skin colour. There will be great glory on him face which will be uncommon and cant be copied.

This is another in a long series of myths from the bible. Nobody ever proved any of the other claims. Just because something is written in a fascinating book does not mean it is true. What about Lord of the Rings?

And if he did come, this business about every eye seeing him return ... how? If a plane lands in the Los Angeles airport, does that mean that people in Greece see it landing? Have we all witnessed the same return of a space shuttle, or of an eclipse?

And ... according to the bible, people did not want to believe that jesus was the son of god the first time around. With this business about anti-christ and false prophets, are "believers" really going to accept this person who again claims to be the son of god? Regardless of the miracles he might claim to do, people will still say it is a trick. Let's face it ... people voted in good faith for a christian President and look at how disappointed everybody is now. So people will also reject this "son of god" and his glorious return, although some are so anxious for this to happen that they will get carried away with emotion and become dangerous when they assume they are empowered to be his leaders. Look out for Pat Robertson!

But, referring back to my opening statement, it is another in a long line of myths and tales of miraculous events, so don't waste too much sleep worrying about it.

You will know because 7 years earlier all the true believers would have all disappeared (except 144,000 who have their fate sealed and are left to try and save the rest of you) and during those 7 years the Antichrist will have ruled. 3 1/2 years of peace and 3 1/2 years of war ending with the battle of Armigeddon. Contrary to popular belief armigeddon is not the end of the world.

After that battle Jesus will rule the earth and satin will be locked in hell. If you are lucky enough to be one of the few survivors you will have no doubt.

An easier way will be to bypass all this 'hell' on earth by accepting Jesus as your lord and Savior. Once filled with the Holy Spirit you will be in heaven and will not suffer. The Holy Spirit will let you know the real Jesus from fakes.

"Will he look like he does in the portraits?"

Highly unlikely. Most protraits prtray him as Scandinavian. He was a Hebrew from Nazerene, and was not easily identifiable by the Roman soldiers who arrested him (according to the myth). Therefore he looked very similar to his followers...all Middle Eastern men.

"What language will he speak?"

Assuming he wouldn't be using some magical supertranslator, he would be speaking ancient Arabic...Aramian, if my memory serves. We would be nearly incomprehensable.

"What will he say?"

No way to know. I rather doubt he would speak as formally as in the Bible with all those "thees" and "thous".

"What will he do?"

That depends on the version of the myth he is fulfilling. He could be anything from a calm, benevolent philosipher to a psychotically homocidal lunatic.

"Will he do tricks like feed a multitude?"

Well, I would call magically causing every human on Earth to recognize him for what he would be (according to myth) one heck of a trick. Not to mention the rest of the ILM special effects that might be flying around.

If he were to appear in NYC, someone would probably ask him how much his taxi was. (Okay, I admit it, that was a little mean...) Me, I'm not holding my breath. I hope you aren't.

Jesus will not be returning to earth as many believe. He has "done that bit". And even if he did, there would be ones around who would again execute him. No, He has "returned" in Kingdom Power, in a spiritual sense, and is now enthroned in heaven as King of Almighty God's promised Kingdom. This has been prayed for by many [ Matthew 6;9,10 The Lord's Prayer] Proof is found in the prophecy of Daniel 9; 25-27.
Jesus has been in power since 1914.
How, then, is the time calculated down to 1914? Counting 2,520 years from early October of 607 B.C.E. brings us to early October of 1914 C.E., as shown on the chart.
CALCULATING THE “SEVEN TIMES”
“Seven times” = 7 X 360 = 2,520 years
A Biblical “time,” or year = 12 X 30 days = 360. (Rev. 11:2, 3; 12:6, 14)
In the fulfillment of the “seven times” each day equals one year. (Ezek. 4:6; Num. 14:34)
Early October, 607 B.C.E., to December 31, 607 B.C.E.= 1/4 year
January 1, 606 B.C.E., to December 31, 1 B.C.E. = 606 years
January 1, 1 C.E., to December 31, 1913 = 1,913 years
January 1, 1914, to early October, 1914 = 3/4 year
Total: 2,520 years

The world has seen more wars since 1914 than in the whole of recorded history.
And Satan is to blame. Because he has been cast out of heaven down to the earth and is now among us.
Revelation 12; 7-9 & 12 [ 12 On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”

What you see is not as real as God. What you see should prove to you their is a God. If you try and tell me we just became without a creator then you need to go rethink some things. Ask an athiest How the whole universe came about to exist and I mean every galaxy and every star, also the ones still forming. Ask how the earth has one set speed it to turn and one set speed to rotate around the sun. Also the sun is just at the right distance for life to be sustained here on earth which includes billions of diverse lifeforms (That according to athiest just popped out of nowhere or crawled out of the Ocean). Where did the Ocean come from then?. Also ask them to get an empty glass and set it up in their house and go back to the glass 20 or 30 years or more if needed and see whats in it..........you know what would be in it? Still nothing. You have to have a Creator and it scares them. Also for the big bang theory supporters........where did the material that went bang come from and the energy to make it go BANG? I'll tell you God created it and he may have made a "BIG BANG" out of it to put it where he wanted it. I won't dispute that because the Universe is still expanding. All in all the athiests have to many questians to explain themselves that the Bible already explains. I'd rather believe there is a God and die and if there isn't I lose nothing but if there is and I've argued to people he isn't then I would lose alot. Think it over friend. Are you really sure about denying God?

No, he won't look like how many have pictured him, in fact he'll be middle eastern.
He will speak hebrew, maybe some aramaic.
He will speak about God's Law, Torah, and how so many people haven't lived by God's commandments.
He will educate anyone who wishes to learn about Torah, and those who refuse, he will condemn.
He has no need for tricks when he can teach Torah. Tricks are for those who ignore scripture.

Then, with great determinination, he sat on his straw mat underneath a bodhi tree and vowed not to move until he had seen ultimate reality. He spent seven days in meditative absorption. On the morning of the seventh day he opened his eyes and saw the morning star. In that instant, he attained enlightenment.

Listen for the seven trumpets...you will hear them.

For sure HE will be returning? When? Read the Book of Revelations all the signs are there..... The portraits you are seeing are just mere representation of HIM. It doesn't mean that HE will look like it. FAITH will tell you.
