I'm a big fan of DVDs, how many years can a DVD last for?

I'm talking about regular store bought DVDs, not the blank ones with burned information on them.

If you don't ever touch the read surface or get dirt on it, it should last 100 years or more.

I got a 2112 rush cd when it first came out on cd and it is going strong! and that is over 25 year I think

but I think it can go another 50 or 100 years if washed off and put away at times

if you use it carefully then it can last many years
