persons... Hippocrates, Paracelsus,
and Caude Bernard
Hippocrates.. father of medicine as we know it
Paraclelsus.. understood thst if noy dosed correctly medicine could be harmful or become poison( in early 1500's)
Claude Bernard.. demonstrated "sites of action" with specific drugs
