Don't go looking for it - the "desperate dame syndrome" is a real turn-off to most men. But just having sex is NOT true love.
You really need to move into today's world - why do you "need" a man to take care of you, and why, at age 39 are you still living at home with your mother? You need to experience some independence and self-sufficiency - and remember, living with the wrong man can be far lonelier than living alone.

The best way to meet the right kind of guy is to meet them at work, or in another situation where you can get to know them as a friend first. If you are not working (I'm not sure if you are caring for your Mum), then why not join a college course for something you are really interested in. That way you will meet people with the same interests. Even if there are no men on the course, you might meet a friend who could then end up introducing you to her male friends.
They say that everyone has a soul mate out there! I believe it. I met mine at work!

How does one answer a question like that ?, First i think you need to get out and find yourself a man to have the sex with you seem to be longing for, Then only you will know if love is there - The melting Heart & Butterflies in your stomach will give you a clue :-)

i think the way to find man is hang out go to the bar meet new people in your age you know what the right is, and you can easily dicide on your own but it's not to late ok! just think positive ok all remember to find true love is to be your self

hi please don't advertise yourself save your respect i am a 27 woman why don't you try personal ads or speed dating with your friends or yahoo personal. i commend you for whatever your reasons are living with your mum. now think about yourself! You can have a fufilling live with a man you know, and as for sex if it is just the pleasure thing your after try ann summers they have lovely things with batteries. If it is the love and closeness of a man try the other things i recommend but please don't loose your self respect. lol

I believe you've answered your own question in your statement above................(i need a man to take care of me), thats all well and good, most of us do need someone to lean on, just dont admit it, the problem being most men i find like confidence in a woman, to NEED them drains their interest.
