If there white and wriggling then there probably tapeworm and easily treated with an all wormer it's safe to treat pregnant cats with the all wormer but i would check with your vet 1st.
You can easily see when a cat has tape worm when you look in the sleeping place and see dried up rice things in the bed that's tapeworm.
Make sure after treatment you wash all the blankets and everything she/he has been on otherwise the cat can easly be re-infected.
Goodluck.

Tapeworms do no longer cling out of the rectum frequently as they stay interior the intestines. the only ingredient you will possibly see with a tapeworm is rice finding segments interior the stool and the cat might shed extra pounds and in all danger even fur. at the same time because it rather is feasible that the tapeworm would desire to be seen around the rectum, it rather is not rather common. Roundworm is feasible besides yet they have tapered ends and can be vomited up or exceeded in stool. the terrific thank you to inform for particular is taking a stool pattern to the vet. With 2 cats it rather is often complicated. What I did while one in each and every of my cats have been given a tapeworm (from ingesting a mouse) is I positioned the litterbox interior the bathing room alongside with one cat at a time for some hours. I went in and checked specially circumstances for any stool and accumulated any i got here across and categorised the baggie I positioned it in. Then switched cats and did a similar ingredient. it rather is how we found out which cat replaced into contaminated. She replaced into taken care of and all replaced into greater clever.

Its a tape worm probably. Do not use over the counter worm meds. Take a stool sample into your vets he will test it to be sure what type of worm your cat has and give you the correct med for the type of worm your cat has.

I think they are called tape worms and they break off in sections within the stool. Go to Petmeds.com and ask them what to use--it is a common parasite and yes, the flea thing can cause it.
Clear up your baby, and it'll be good as new!

Take your cat to a veterinarian for a complete physical exam. Request that a fecal specimen be checked for intestinal parasites (worms), then administer any medication as prescribed.
2. Limit your cat's contact with soil and dirt, which can contain worms in their larval and egg stages.
3. Prevent your cat from catching and eating rodents and birds, which almost always harbor intestinal parasites in their intermediate life stages (larvae and eggs).
4. Isolate your cat from stray or newly adopted cats, dogs, kittens and puppies until they can be checked for worms and treated if necessary.
5. Treat your cat and your home with products that control all stages of fleas - adult, larval and egg - since fleas can transmit tapeworms to cats.
6. Groom your kitty regularly to be aware of any infestation with fleas. Then take measures to prevent infestation with tapeworms.
7. Consider keeping your cat indoors to reduce the chance of parasite infestation.
8. Have a stool specimen checked twice yearly to be certain that your cat remains parasite-free.
Tips:
Treatment of kittens at three weeks of age is recommended, as they are likely to be born infested with worms.
Bathing your cat will remove fleas, flea debris and eggs, reducing environmental contamination.
Ask a veterinarian about safe and effective new products for parasite control.
Select products that are friendly to the environment as well as safe for your family and your cat.

short, rice looking worms are tapeworms and they get them from fleas. if the worm is long thin spaghetti looking then it is a roundworm. You need to get a dewormer from your vet to take care of the specific worm.

Probably is from ingesting the flea eggs. Take her in and the vet will give you a deworming medicine. Don't take chances with anything not recommended by your vet.
