though i am an atheist, i don't like questions of this type posted in this category. you may not believe in god, but Jesus was real he died for a noble cause.before asking this type of questions, think for a second whether that question would hurt the sentiments of millions of people who regard Jesus as the son of god

He wasn't sent for his own pleasure, he was sent to die for you.
What you see is not as real as God. What you see should prove to you their is a God. If you try and tell me we just became without a creator then you need to go rethink some things. Ask an athiest How the whole universe came about to exist and I mean every galaxy and every star, also the ones still forming. Ask how the earth has one set speed it to turn and one set speed to rotate around the sun. Also the sun is just at the right distance for life to be sustained here on earth which includes billions of diverse lifeforms (That according to athiest just popped out of nowhere or crawled out of the Ocean). Where did the Ocean come from then?. Also ask them to get an empty glass and set it up in their house and go back to the glass 20 or 30 years or more if needed and see whats in it..........you know what would be in it? Still nothing. You have to have a Creator and it scares them. Also for the big bang theory supporters........where did the material that went bang come from and the energy to make it go BANG? I'll tell you God created it and he may have made a "BIG BANG" out of it to put it where he wanted it. I won't dispute that because the Universe is still expanding. All in all the athiests have to many questians to explain themselves that the Bible already explains. I'd rather believe there is a God and die and if there isn't I lose nothing but if there is and I've argued to people he isn't then I would lose alot. Think it over friend. Are you really sure about denying God?

Now, after all of these people had given you speeches, mocked your intelligence, or had imposed their opinions upon you in a basically unfriendly manner, it's pretty much pointless for me to try to come up with a good answer, but your question has got my attention.
But since I am a catholic, I have to say, just because Jesus didn't fit into the "normal" lifestyle of other men, didn't make him gay. That's kind of what made Jesus...well, Jesus.
I could understand your confusion with a man kissing another man, but that can be explained. In several cultures, people kissing one another is just a sign of true fondness and caring for another. Men kissed men, and women kissed women. As an Italian, I understand this custom, and have seen it done in my own family.
Perhaps your confusion about Jesus is due to the fact that true "brotherly love" is something that we don't have enough of in today's world. I believe because of the lack of "brotherly love", society has made you blind to the idea of Jesus as someone who simply cared for others, and instead, they made you identify him as maybe gay. So, it's not your fault, don't worry. Just try to be open minded.
Also, with all of the conspiracy theories floating around, your curiosity on this subject isn't surprisisng to me, or a sign of ignorance in my opinion. I can imagine the history channel trying to make a documentary on the subject.

Brave question. If I were at level 2 I'd give a thumbs up! I doubt he was gay. The modern King James version of the bible omits parts to the story. As has all interpretations handed down throughout time. This part of his life probably wasn't interesting, or perhaps (da vinci code theroy) it was something the church didn't want stressed.

The man he kissed betrayed him and fyi it is a form of a greating. As far as hanging out with only guys is not true. There were also women who fallowed Jesus whereever He went.
"Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs. "

That is a troubling and ignorant question. Would you ask a friend who did the same things if they wre gay? Or would you assume they were saving themselves for marriage? Why would you even think such a thing or waste your time pondering something which is so totally not relevant to the message HE brought?
Why am I wasting my time and intelligence in even humoring your sickness?
Resolve whatever issues you have and get over it.

I thought some people feel he married and had sex with Mary Madelaine (she was a woman). I don't think there is any historical record of Jesus' sex life, so we can't know for sure either way.

No he was not gay. I would think that you would have better things to do than to think up these ridiculous questions. Read her previous questions to see what I am talking about.
