What's a quick, easy way of getting wavy hair?

I want my hair to have a nice wave to it that doesnt take a great deal of time.

in order of price from least to greatest.

take a shower at night and braid it once u get out of the shower and sleep on it try and braid it as close to the scalp as posible so its wavy all the way through. sleep on it and when u wake up unbraid it in the morning.i would use more than one braid to make sure u get and even wave all the way through unless ur hair is really long and not really layered then u dont have to worry about it.

u can put it up in 3 buns when its 99% dry two on the sides and one in the back and let it dry. all u need is some boby pins or hair clips.

or buy a waver it looks like a curler/straitaner that is put together

or u can go to a salon and get a chemical wave

Go to the Dollar Store and get their $1 packs of foam rollers and roll hair wet the night before. Make sure that you get the bigger size if you just want lose waves, if you want more curl get the smaller one. It will cost you like 5 dollars depending on how many you need to do your head but it only takes a few minutes to roll. If you do not want to sleep in them do this a few hours before bed time and take them out but sleep with your hair in either a sleep cap or put up in clips. When fixing it use light hair spray as not to weigh it down. Good Luck.

I actually have a pal who does this to get wavy hair.. She washes and prerequisites her hair Blow dries it the different way up on cool mode on the same time as combing with the aid of with hands Wait till her hair is damp yet no longer dry combination salt and water at the same time places it in her damp hair places her hair in a bun, till this is dry take the bun out and you have beachy wavy hair

Wash your hair. And while it's still soaking wet, braid it. Leave the braid in until it dries completely, and you'll have wavy hair until you wash it again.

Take a shower before bed, while your hair is still wet apply gel and then braid it. In the morning when you wake up, undo the braid and run you fingers through just a little bit. Use some hairspray to hold.

the big foam rollers is a great idea, the braid is a good idea too, also on wet hair I use baby oil (no more than a dime size of oil in your palm) I sort of "scrunch" my hair a little to give it some shape and then I get two chinese hair sticks
garnier curls cunstruct mouse is great too, but I think it make my hair fall off big time

Either french braid it doesn't matter wet or dry sleep in it and then figer brush it in the morning. Or when you get out of the shower scruch your hair.

If you go to a good hairstylist, you could get a blow wave done, but if you want to D.I.Y and don't want to spend a sack of money then my suggestion is good curling irons, so you can control the style of the wave and a good serum would help them last longer and make your hair look softer, shinier and less frizzier.
