It is simply called the Law of Moses because The Law of God would apply to all of the Bible. It is meant to focus on what came from Moses instead of what come from another of His servants.

and regarding "AiW"
by the way I am a Christian who has been learning more and understanding more of the Bible through reason, research and study for over 20 years. Once principle I have learned is that opinion must give way to experience. Many Christians do follow the teaching of Jesus to Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and Mind. Perhaps you should be more open minded and less intolerant. After all isn't that what your point of view preaches?

Good question.

I think that these laws were inspired by Moses's lifelong experience of the Divine. While Moses must be considered the author of the Law, it is unquestionable that his relationship with the LORD greatly informed his views on what makes for a just and godly society.

The Lord God gave it to him and then he delivered it to the people. That is why its called the law of Moses.

God wrote the 10 commandments and gave them to Moses on top of Mount Sinai.....if it is called the law of Moses then it's simply because Moses took them and presented them

I guess its a matter of personal belief. For me, I personally believe what scripture says in that God dictated the Torah (God's Law) to Moses.

These books are known by many names - Torah, the Law of Moses, the Law of God, the books of Moses - even though these are just names given to these books, it still adds up to being one of God's greatest gifts to all of mankind.

Simply put as others have so noted...It's God's law. It was only referred to as the Law of Moses, because of whom the law was received through. I'm pretty sure God invented gravity...but any science book you read says, "Newton's Law...". Get the picture now?

It was given to moses one letter at a time, simply a string of letters, no punctuation, no spaces, in Hebrew, which make up our first 5 books.

They are the laws of God, books of Moses

Moses was the second Savior of Israel!
