Can I take not breathing normally as breathless or heavy breathing? There are many symptoms for such type of breathing. A person who has a heart problem may breath heavily. An asthmatic patient may also have difficulties in breathing. A person who has a diaphragmatic hernia may have systems of difficult breathing. Any of these problems, for the matter anything to do with breathing need proper medical attention. Oxygen is needed for every cell in our body, especially the brain. If there is not enough oxygen in the blood from the lungs, first the heart will not function properly followed by the brain and the rest of the body.

Sorry, I am not a medical man, but this is what I know from what I read. A medical doctor will be the best person to consult on such medical matters.

It sure does. Lungs are, in fact, oxygen processors. Inadequate breathing often leads to a myriad of problems, including cancer, pneumonia & various immune system deficiencies, which are often triggered because of lack of oxygen. That's why people with asthma is more likely to catch the flu, or fall with colds more often. It also affects vision, weight and/or body temperature control, and may cause muscular dystrophy.

Yes because the oxygen intake affects things like your blood flow, the way your muscles work etc. Your body needs oxygen and that is why you breathe. Breathing normally can make you healthy.

what do u mean by not breathing properly? Is it like holding ur breath while taking a dive or jus for fun u holdur breath? Or do u mean due to certain diseases like chronic obstructive airway disease or asthma? Well COAD can cause permanent dilatation of the terminal airspace..and this will kinda of impair the breathing..and cause increase in pulmonary pressure...long term effects of increased pulmonary pressure can lead to right heart failure..and also respiratory failure...Asthma doesnt cause tat coz asthma is due to the airways getting congested n constricted so once u treat them effectively they are ok..but acute severe asthma can lead to silent chest where the person stops breathing and can be fatal...

if you are not breathing properly enough to get adequate oxygen to your blood, yes, it does affect other parts of your body. Some changes are temporary, blue lips, fingers, (cyanosis), and some are permanent..Barrel chest, clubbed fingers...are both indications of chronic oxygen deprivation.

It depends on what you mean. If you're breathing in a way that doesn't get you enough oxygen, it will force your heart to work harder.

Yes it does. If you aren't breathing, you will die. Does that answer your question? If you are Hypoventilating, or Hyperventilating it can cause severe alkalosis or acidosis. Cyanosis, is a common side effect, indicating severe problems......ect. ect....
