my cousins and i went to a party where there was drinking a few nights after the party there mother came up to me and asked me what happened, she told me that i'd better not lie to her either, i'm scared of her and she can tell when i'm lying so i said the her kids and i participated in drinking which we did, so now my cousin's are making rude comments in front of my face or completely ignoring me when i say hello to them i've left them several coments on myspace, we were all on at the same time and yet they won't talk to me. they even cut me out of the picutures that we took together? what should i do?

but i'm not sorry because their neighbor told their mom that kids were drinking at the party and such the mom just wanted to confirm it with me, and by the way i don't think it's being a tattle tale when you can possibly save someone's life. but any how i made my bed now i've got to lay in it.

Well, I guess you've learned your, "Don't be a tattle-tale lesson" haven't you?
In all seriousness, though I am a bit serious about the above, you need to say you're sorry and explain your side of things. Maybe you shouldn't have to say you're sorry, but they'll be wanting to hear it. Besides, you could have at least TRIED not to tell their mother, but you didn't.
I'm not a big drinker. In fact, I've only been drunk on two occasions...So you need not assume this is coming from a drunk who thinks drinking is cool, or whatever. I'm just saying you sort of betrayed their trust, so while you may have done the right thing in the eyes of their mother...You didn't in the eyes of your peer group. You did what you felt was right, though, of course...And I feel what you think is right is ALWAYS the best choice. You just have to be ready for the conseqences now. Do your bit of clean up and everything should be OK. And next time, don't do anything 'bad' with them...Though I doubt they'll invite you next time no matter how sincere your apology is. ;D

I'm not sure what kind of person you want to be, but one thing i learned from 63cousins, is never speak for anyone else. Say simple things like "I didn't see anything or anyone drinking, I wasn't drinking!!!" That way you don't lose all your buddies and parties well be comfortable and have to suck cause your stuck kicking it with your mom. So just keep in mind, " I don' t know, I just know what I do or don't do"!! And your not being disrespectful, because its true you are not watching everyone or are you?

They probably got into trouble and resent you for telling the truth.
Give them time and I'm sure they'll forgive you. If not stay away from them for a while. This kind of thing often happens in families, which is why there are so many arguements at family gatherings, particulary at christmas time.

You just have to be strong and ignore it because that is the only way to get through it. Your cousins have to realize that their mom put you in a crappy situation and they should understand why you told her. Hopefully they will think about it and grow up about the situation. If not, then why would you want people like that in your life if they are just going to be like that? even if they are family then they should be more forgiving and less hating.

well i'm guessing the mother came to you because they probably lied to her so if you apologized then that's all you can do they need to grow and quit acting so childish if they can't then o well you shouldn't worry you told the truth and that's better than what you can say for them good luck

One day they will grow up and mature, they are family, sh!t like that happens, it'll pass. I would talk to them, and let them know where you are coming from. Talk out the whole situation and tell them how its hurting you by the imamture way they are acting. I think time will heal this

Don't chase them if you apologized already thats all you had to do. They'll come around just forget about em for a bit. Not your fault if they couldnt do the "time" they shouldnt have done the crime.
Good luck.

in a way you sold them out, say you'll sorry
but if they won't forgive you, then you ignore them cause they too need to deal with life as sh!t happens all the time and they are being immature if they don't forgive you
