I have a cockerspaniel mutt and he's pretty old. He's around 10 or 11 years old. Recentley he's been growing bumps around his body, the first appeard on his head, then I found a couple more throughout his body. It's getting bigger, I don't think it's hurting him cause when I touch it he doesn't try to get away. I know I shold take him to the vet but I haven't had a chance to go.
At first it looked like a wart, but now its getting lumpy.

Cockers are prone to subcutaneous cysts that contain basically fat deposits and are harmless BUT any dog can also develop cancerous tumors so if in doubt, please see your vet. A general rule is if you can move it around under the skin, it's harmless. A hard, unmoveable lump is more likely to be cancerous but as with any rule, there are exceptions. Get your baby to the vet...he has served you loyally all of these years so return the favor. Good luck!

cockers are known to have those bumps. it comes with age. they are not life threatening. the vet might ask you if u want them removed or not. remember: cockers dont last very long. they get sick alot. they last around 12-14 years

old dogs have a tendency to grow fatty tumors, but your
vet really needs to see your dog, bedause even tho fatty
tumors don't hurt the dog, it might be something more
serious and if you really love your dog, you need to find
out for sure what is going on.

Try supplementing Omega 3s into his diet. Lipiderm is a good product.

As he has them appearing all over they could be cysts, your vet will be able to tell you, so do try to get to him soon, even if its just to put your mind at rest.........
