All religions are immoral and no religion is the correct one. All religions have got it wrong, and they are all basically war mongering cults for money, power and control of gullible minds. It's big business today.
There are many major religions in the world, such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, and so on. Within each major religion there can also be many minor religions. For example, within Christianity there is Catholic, Protestant, Anglican and so on. Within Islam there is Shiite, Sunni etc.
In summary there are many hundreds of different religions in the world all with their devoted believers and followers. Talk to any devout religious person and they will almost emphatically insist that their religion is the right one, it’s fact, and any non-believer is doomed.
Commonsense and logic would suggest that if there was any truthful or factual basis to religion, then only one of these religions could be correct, not all of them. However, in my view, it’s highly unlikely that any of these man-made religions bear any resemblance to fact or the truth, and are more likely to be the result of simplistic human intelligence looking for an escape from reality.

Morals, or the lack of them in some cases, differ from culture to culture, region to region - most religions agree on certain moral issues and disagree on others. I will give you an example - no one in the modern western world (mainly of Christian origins) can honestly claim a moral right to sleep with a six year old girl - but this is not the case in some Arabian/Asian cultures (mainly of Muslim origins) where girls from 6 years old are considered sexually capable of receiving an adult male who may be old enough to be her grandfather. And don't think for a second that our so called randy grandfather would feel even the slightest prick of conscience (no pun intended). There are of course many more variable examples between ethnic groups - female circumcision, homosexuality, female infant mortality, tribal scaring, capital punishment, etc, etc - individuality, a persons morality is influenced most by his conscience and no matter what influence his upbringing, or location, or culture, or religion, may color his thinking upon an issue, his own inborn conscience will guide him best. We thus do not all share the exact same sensitivity of conscience at birth and thus differences will always persist even between brothers or best friends.

What morals do you have to ask your left hand to help the right hand when in trouble ( ignore the physiological auto-responses, consider the cellular intelligence level responses ) ?
If this example can be used to understand, using it symbolically, then the true value of morals of religion (any & all) can be grasped !
No morals are required wherever true love prevails. Mother-child, true friends, true spouse.... relationships!
Just that if a person can see experientially, everything around him to be a part of himself, then no morals are needed. Action flows out of him, and it will always turn out to be the best possible in the situation ! This is what all true religions are supposed to teach ! To get these qualities, a few prescriptions to be used as tools, techniques, etc , are given (very unfortunately, grossly mis-taught by many so-called-preachers, to ensure their own power over others !

i am very religious
believe in Gaia and Baal and Isis
we are very moral and offenders of breaking any morals are never forgiven
we think that too many Christians have no morals at all ,a lot of them break all their comandments ,and they get forgiven as well ,(incredible)
of all the cultures that i have know: the Christian places had the most crime ,in Mexico (a very Cristian country)are crimes we have never even heard of in Europe, like selling body parts ,kidnapping ,slave trading etc.
this is terrible..and makes their God look incompetent
and through the centuries this religion was responsible for millions of deaths often after being tortured first
,they are now planning to reduce the world population by 60% according to Kissenger ,Bush and Prince Philip (they admitted it in private Bilderberg meetings)
and they will do this in imoral ways no daubt.
i think sacrifice to the gods should be legal again for those who defy them at least or public execution or slave labor.
dont you agree that way we would have a lot less crime ,like polution and destroying Nature.or violating people especially children
people who destroy Nature should be plowed into the ground to refertilize that they have destroyed
dont you agree
of course you do, any body with morals would.
the Toltecs stimulated their religious followers to think and that they were responsible for their own actions ,this is a general Pagan concept ,the blame or responsibility goes to the individual ,no higher power to refer to ,like God or the government
my personal experience has taught me that people who think up their own morals are far stronger at keeping them
In Holland where everything goes .drugs ,sex rock and roll and anastasia freely available and legaly excepted .
the kids are the most moral kids i have ever met ,because their morals came from within .and was not forced upon them ,they dont do drugs ,have permissive sex or commit suicide all over the place or kill people
the same i have found with very primative people far removed from religions ,or governments
,the more primative ,the more morals and often more politeness and curtisy
so religious rule and governments and police is not the key to succes for morality

Well, this is not an easy question to answer in a few short lines, but I'll give it a whirl.
I was born and baptized in a Catholic Church. After my parents split, a pastor introduced me to Mennonite Church (I was 5, my mom was inactive in any church). My mom sent me to Catholic School for the education but continued to send me to Mennonite Church. Talk about confusing a child.
Well, after I was able to make my own decisions, I chose no church or organized religion, all the time believing in a creator. Then I got married and had kids and decided church was important, for the sense of community as well as the teachings. We chose a church close to our home which is Lutheran,
So, wow, to answer your question...
I am Lutheran. My morals? Do you mean my views on certain subjects?
Abortion...No (we have plenty of choices prior to that point)
Birth control...yes
Capitol Punishment...Yes
Gays...relationships, ok. Marriage, no.
I live under a higher power. I try to be a good person, not cause harm to others.

I'm Protestant. (Pentacostal). Morally, I feel that a woman should be married before having children, but not necessarily before having sex. I feel that sex should not be entered into lightly, but well thought out between two people that really love each other, that are at least 18(self supporting), and have respect for each other. I am also pro choice, and not pro abortion.
Marriage is not for everyone, it's a lot of work on the part of both. Marriage is needed before children, because the children would be confused, and in some cases, not have the same last names as the parents. This is confusing to teachers like myself, and others, so it definitely is confusing for the child. Abortion is a hard choice as it is, but I'm pro choice because sometimes, the choice is to keep the baby, and sometimes it to put it up for adoption and sometimes abortion is the most appropriate choice. I teach my own children and others by example, and I believe in talking things out to see and discuss problems and ideas.

I am a Christian of the Baptist religion. I have high morals. I try not to judge people if they don't have the same morals as I, but it is very hard in this day and time. I was taught not to curse, I don't drink alcohol or smoke, I don't believe in abortion unless medically necessary(life threatening), violence, or calling people names, or being prejudiced because of skin color. I would not steal and I have given back too much money that may have been given to me by a cashier or I have found. I try to show myself as an example, especially for my grandchildren. The world is in so much trouble now, that I believe everyone needs to do their part.

I am a Christian - Lutheran
My morals coinside with the teachings of the Bible. I try to go by the ten commandments; ie: no stealing, no adultry, no murder, etc. I embrace Integrity, honor, I try to live by this so that people in my life can trust me, and if I give my word, they will know it is true. Pretty common stuff.
