Jesus wept when he learned of his friend Lazarus' death.

I think Jesus was crying because most of the people at that time refused to believe his messages. They came to see his healings and miracles, but really didn't take his words to heart. He tried to tell them that his Father wanted a loving relationship with them and wanted to put His laws in their hearts instead of laws that were obeyed out of obligation. He wanted them to know that loving God and neighbor was what his Father desired, but few listened to him.

It makes him sad to see that though he tries so hard to help us, a lot of times, we don't except his help, and he watches as we stumble down a painful path. He loves us more than anybody ever could and it hurts him to have to see those he loves suffer on earth, instead of being in heaven with him.....but we have to wait for that time to come. I would cry too....

That's not Jesus. That is a painting of Jesus. It's crying because that's how the artist painted it. You REALLY didn't already know this?

good luck my friend.
