I just broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years and a half. My advice is to start dating when you feel you are capable of it. As long as you feel comfortable enough, then thats all that matters. Make sure you won't blame the new date for something the old love did. If you're interested in dating next week, then go for it. There is no set time for how long one should wait before dating again, its only a comfort issue. Best of luck.

i understand how you feel bro, i was single fo 2 years after my last one. i spent a lot of time thinking why something started out so good turned into something so bad.
a lot of it, i've discovered was my own challenges I needed to work out, that's why i've decided to stay single.
Now i am openly dating around, trying to find someone special. I feel like i'm ready for it.
