Ask a Christian if it is OK to use in-vitro fertilization? I bet they say, yes it is OK. Well what is the difference? I cannot believe this is even a debate. It is a no brain-er. Curing the worse illnesses on the planet or saving a cell that would fit on the end of a needle. Duh! Tell me,. do you actually believe that using stem cells or having a 1st trimester abortion will prevent a soul from being born? If God wants that soul to be born, it will be.

First, I am not 100% informed, but I don't think that you have all the facts in order about stem cell research. There are other ways and even more reliable ways to get the cells needed for this research than from embryos. I would gladly deny the right to a so called cure if I knew the cure came from unethical immoral medical practices. Besides- there is more and more overwhelming proof that there are cures for cancer, diabetes, Parkinsons, etc- they are not publicized because the pharmaceutical companies don't make nearly as much money.
God created our bodies and He created everything we need to fuel our bodies and encourage healing. Pharmaceuticals ony cover up or maintain one problem while creating others that will pad the pockets of these companies when treatment is sought for those side effects.

No, I won't give up my right to salvation. I also am aware that stem cell research is not an actual fetus - but like so many things, when we tamper with something that we beleive can bring about good, someone always figures out a way to turn into evil. So, if you've studied history at all, then for me as a Christian, that is my concern. And we've known cures for these ailments for years, and they are used in others countries, but the FDA, MDA, and pharmaceutical companies can't get rich if we have a healthy America, so the real problem isn't just Christians, it's some very wealthy lined pockets and lobbyist who pretty much control what is and isn't considered acceptable medical practices in America. The sadness is that if you truly want good medical care, you have to get it outside of America.

Your research is incorrect.
Therapeutic cloning using a process known as somatic cell nuclear transfer, (cell nuclear replacement, research cloning, and embryo cloning) involves taking an egg (or oocyte) from which the nucleus has been removed, and replacing that nucleus with DNA from the cell of another organism. After many mitotic divisions in culture, this single cell forms a blastocyst (an early stage embryo with about 100 cells) with almost identical DNA to the original organism.
Although it has not been fertilized through traditional methods, given the right conditions, it could still grow into a fetus and eventually a child. It is embryo.

Lots of people are against stem cell research.... not just Christians.
The scientists aren't going to cure those diseases...not while the major pharmaceutical companies have their say.... there's billions of dollars to be made and they aren't about to let someone find a "cure". Think about it, all the pills those drug companies make treat the condition of the patient.... it doesn't cure...... if it cured you'd only have to take the pills a few times and never have to use them again.... they can't even cure the common cold --- what makes you think they are going to cure MS, Diabetes, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's??

No, Christians should not have to give up their right to be treated for certain diseases because they make it difficult for the stem cell research.
And let's back up for a minute, it's not a guarantee that the scientists could do what they claim they could with the stem cells. It's just their best guess. Kinda like how this year North America was suppose to have to endure another deadly hurricane season this year. As of today, we are below average for our hurricane season. Scientists are NOT gods.

I think even a "true" Christian would give that ideal if their daugther son mother or father needed stem cells. Science is science religion is a separate thing i mean if it meant hurting another human being it should be wrong but i dont see the wrong in giving hope to many. Plus if we cant do it then someone else in a different country will and at the end of the day we are gonna suffer

Well, look at it this way. Nancy Reagan didn't care about stem cell research until she realized it might have kept her husband around longer. People don't really care about things until it directly affects them. This unfortunately means that stem cell research won't be an ok thing until the Christians who hate it so much see a use for it for themselves. People are such selfish a*sholes.

they forget where they came from ,it was from genetic engineering and cloning by the Anunaki that the Adams race was created
cro magno Neanderthal homo erectus etc
all lived at the same time in the same place near the first gold mines of this planet ,these were the Anunakis genetic experiments ,before they got it right and they produced homo sapian to mine gold for them
so Christians objection to people creating people is just a touch hypocritical
and the Anunaki were not gods either so there was no god with a monopoly on cloning people

Stem cell research kills innocent babies. The stem cells taken are removed from the brain of the baby while it is still in the womb, killing the child. This is why is it wrong. This is murder. You cannot destroy one life to POSSIBLY save another. We have no right to kill innocent, unborn children. They are the most fragile of all of us, the most defenseless, and deserve the highest levels of protection we can give them. Yet the mother's womb, the place where you and I once were, is now a killing ground.
God help us.
