Yes. Yes, I do.
I named my son after a shipmate that died way to soon.
So Joe is watching and being Joe, getting my son in trouble daily!

No. this is a common misunderstanding. When people die, they do NOT become angels. Angels are Angels. When people die, they become spirits or whatever you want to call them, but not Angels.

I DO believe that they may be there watching you. They may be with you, but I don't think they're like guardian angels or anything.

Here's a REALLY interesting story. Well I think it's interesting. My grandfather died when I was around 9 years old. BEFORE he died, there were NO doves in my neighborhood. AFTER he died, there were suddenly doves around. Many of the places I'd go, I'd see doves walking around or standing there looking at me. I think they're watching me for my grandfather. .. . . . MAYBE. lol

I really like this question. I have always believed in spritual angels. I guess it's a grandmother thing. My brother, and I were very close to our grandparents even though they lived in another state. Each summer as children we visited, and were with them until school started. My garandma was a very special, and spiritual person, and I believed she had to be one of Gods chosen few. To make a long story short many things happened that were paranormal when we were with her, and I grew up to believe in her belief in angels. I'm not spouting any religious tales for anyone I am simply answering your question as it relates to me. I do certainlly believe that we all have angels watching over us, and especially someone who was close to you, and passed away. I've been in some pretty hairy spots in my time, and I am convinced either my grandparents or my father has been one of those angels.

No, nothing that is of this world can ever nor will ever be an angel. It says so in the Bible. God created a certain number of angels and that is it. I don't even believe that our relatives are looking at us from heaven as non-angels. I think they are perfectly content where they are and are perfectly fine not seeing us til we get there. Sometimes I have felt a presence aroudn me and little things remind me of one of my relatives, but then i realize that Satan also has many demons who know what my relatives were liek and could decieve me into thinking that they are watching over me. By doing this he leads me further from Christ by making me think that there is some type of other afterlife other then Heaven. Think about it. If you died and went to Heaven where you are eternally in the presence of the Father who has shown you love do you really want to abandon him to stare at your relatives here on earth. No, you wouldn't. And if you harvest those thoughts now then you do not truly ove the lord in the way that you need to to get to Heaven. If you read the Bible you will find that nothign you know here on Earth could possibly turn into a guardian angel over you. I believe that nobody has one specific guardian angel. There are bands of angels that all walk the earth taking care. The work together. Not one of them has jsut one person that they are supposed to protect. Each is here to battle demons wherever they find them. Not just to battle the demons that we come in conflict with.

No ,but my sister has come to me in dreams and she just smiles at me. I believe is a way of showing me that she is o.k. and that she is no longer suffering. My 1 yr old son saw her picture in my photo alum and called her by her nick name T-T but he has never seen her before and she passed away 4 yrs ago. He also have been laughing in his sleep calling out her name. It's unexplainable but yet a peaceful feeling to know that someone could be there watching over you besides the Almighty One.

Shalom

There is only one to a customer. My mother died when I was 8, I still feel her presence when I need it and I'm 54 now. She is my Guardian Angel.

Yes, it's always been a comforting thought. My husband died 4 years ago, and we always think of him as our angel. My sons (ages 7 & 10) and I send balloons and notes to him on his bday every year. It's not silly. It's comforting.

Not, necessarily, the 'act' of being 'your' particular 'guardian' angel, perhaps, may not, be that person's destiny! It may be their responsibility to watch over someone else. Attend to the 'needs' of a 'perfect stranger'. That person's destiny, on this plane and on the next, would be their decision. (*Not, everyone's destiny is to proceed to the "Angelic Realm"!)

P.S. Sylvia Brown is entitled to her opinion, like anyone...But, she is no more an 'expert' on 'this' area, than anyone else. (*We are all currently, living on the 'same' physical plane)

No, deceased people don't become angels. Angels and humans are entirely different. Sure, I think I might have a loved one watching over me, but it doesn't promote them to angel status.
