my dad is fixing my room but its taking a long time for him to do it what should i do in order for him to hurry and fix it?

Help him by doing some of the time consuming jobs that most anyone can do like painting or staining. It is a bit hard as your not telling us what he is doing to your room. Remodling takes time and there are always jobs that need to be done that can eat a lot of time. By showing your eager by wanting to help will make him see that you really would like your room back. complaining will have a reverse effect and he will slow down and nothing in the world makes a man feel great and do his best is when his daughter wants to be involved and learn things from her father.

Help him or start asking him do you do start painting? How do you change a light fixture? And then start it yourself- but not the electrical part! Tell him you need the quiet of your own room to study! That should get him! Be tolerant though because it has been hot and he may be extra tired if you live anywhere that is as hot as here. Young folks have had a hard time keeping up because of the heat. Best wishes.

Why don't you ask how you can help him. Not only will it go twice as fast (in theory), but you'll get to spend some time with him and learn a few things.

Move to his room with all your belongings until your room gets done.

Well, offer him some help.Or call one of those TLC or Home shows.
I believe there is one called "It's All My Fault" or something like that!

Camp out in his room or see if you can help him.
Tell him nicely you want to help cause you miss your room.
