God saves people - we don't and we can't. You can pray for eyes to see and ears to hear. It is better to be quiet and let God do what he does best.
I know you are thinking - well, what about the great commission?
Jesus said make 'disciples' but he didn't say make 'christians' out of people - only he can do that. Once they get saved you can teach them what the word says.
God is working on them - you wouldn't want to get in the way and put more distance between them and God.
To every man the measure of faith is given - and who is the giver? God. You can't give it to them. God will not lose any of the ones he has chosen to save - so you don't need to worry about this.
In John 6 "This is the work of God, believe in the one he has sent" - that is all the work you need to do.

the commercial Revolution of the early 1900's. This introduced approximately the vast-scale use of machineries to run industries. It additionally introduced approximately the country's dependence on oil to run those machineries. The Iraq conflict is a ploy by ability of Bush to learn administration of that usa's oil. Iraq had no longer something to do with the 9/11 assaults. The terrorists have been all Saudi nationals. no longer a single one among them got here from Iraq. The WMD's have been a lie. Bush and the CIA falsified the intelligence information to make it look that Iraq had WMD's. The falsified intelligence strategies grew to become the inspiration for justififying the subsequent invasion of that usa. The invasion of Iraq had no longer something to do with the motive to end Saddam's dictatorship. there are various some distance worse dictators than Saddam, and yet those dictators nonetheless proceed to be in ability as much as this present day (Cuba, Egypt, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Burma, China are only few examples of those brutal dictatorships). even with the properly time-honored actuality that Saddam grow to be a brutal dictator, the U. S. nonetheless supported him and presented him with weapons in the process the Iran-Iraq conflict of the 80's. hence, bringing freedom and democracy to Iraq had never been the U. S.'s objective in any respect.

You're children who are too young to realize the true meaning of repentance do not have to worry; older children need to be certain of their salvation and so does your husband; sometimes the best way is like you do, the way you live, and then I've learned with my son, all my answers come from scripture, not as lectures just answers and then I leave him and my husband, as they don't seem to want to grow beyond infancy in their relationship with the Lord, little notes that challenges them to find something in the Bible that would convince me of their basic knowledge - and then sometime when I am alone with one or the other, I'll ask if they ever looked it up - usually my son has and my husband will say, oh honey, you know I didn't. But, I can't make them grow up,all I can do is encourage, but I have stopped giving them the answers, I give the passages that will provide them the answers. And even prayers, I give them verses that they should pray through for their answers and then I make a time that when I'm alone with them, that I take a copy of the verses and say, Oh by the way, let's stop in here at this park, I wanted to pray alone with you about such and such, and they indulge me and my son has got to the point that he comes in slams the door, and says, "Mom, don't ask, you'll just give me Bible talk, and I'm not ready to hear it." Then when he's ready, he comes to me and usually has already found a verse and wants to know if that applies or not to his given situation. So, I've learned to back off with how much I provide and leave the clues for them. My husband, I figure is an adult and I just pray faithfully that the Holy Spirit will convict him to pick up the Bible for himself. Whenever I clear the magazine rack, I always put it on top, it winds up at the bottom, and we go through the same routine. One day I took it completely off, he asked me what I did with it, and I told him I put it away, wasn't any need for it to get ruined just sitting out, and he made me put it back. He liked knowing it was there. So, you just have to ask God what's going to work in your situation. He'll plant ideas in your mind. He did mine.

The chaos that you are seeing is not in the world or your family - the chaos is within you. You are - for whatever - deciding that things are not as God wills them to be but how you feel they should be. The way they think isn't the problem here. The problem is that you feel that you know what is best for them and you are forgetting they are not only your children or your husband's - they are God's children as well and so are you. What you need to do - as all of us need to do is remember that we are all as God wants us to be right now and that God's will is working through all of us at this time.
World events are not leading us into chaos - they are leading us to salvation. That is reality as well and the world that you are seeking here may not be coming from a source that you are expecting - so alway remember that one should not close one's ears to everyone - for someone who is not a co-religionist might be the one who help you at a time of need.
Respectfully,
MikeInRI :-)

Have them read John chapter 3 and ask them what being born again means to them.
Also Romans chapter 10. The Bible has lots of scripture about being saved. If they know the Bible they should know how to be saved. But people interpret the Bible in different ways, that's why there are so many different religions.
Good luck & God bless

I understand your point, and this highlights once of the many very damaging brain-washing effects religion and the Bible has on children. It's sad but true, and you really need to make great effort to save your children from the influence of religion.
Religious parents even let their children read the Bible. Many parents don’t allow their kids to watch various TV programmes or movie films, or read certain books, because they contain too much hatred, violence, killing, and murders which may cause negative thoughts and behaviour in their children.
However these same parents allow their kids to read the Bible, yet the Bible contains some of the worst hatred, violence, killing, and murders ever witnessed in Humanity. Certainly the Bible also contains some nice parts as do many of these other books, TV and films.
This is just hypocrisy when it comes to the Bible. In a child’s mind, hatred, violence, killing, and murders are all troublesome, yet the Bible is by far the worst offending material ever written by man.
Religious people are so cruel to their children – God is just a monster.
Nothing could possibly be more mentally damaging to children than telling them over and over again from birth there exists an invisible person (God or whatever) who is unwilling to prove he exists watching them every second of every day, reading their thoughts, and if they don't believe in this invisible person they will be tortured for eternity.
Yet we tell the same children that monsters don't exist so it's silly to be scared of monsters.
Surely there must be a better way than religion. Humanity has made great progress technologically, surely we at least owe it to our children to find a better answer than religion, and more importantly, do it quickly before we permanently stuff up our world. Our children deserve better.

If you could get them into a conversation about what do you think it means to be saved? And then listen to them. It's okay to present your point of view (the bible), just so it doesn't come across as "I'm right, you're wrong". I think people are very willing to hear if they think the person they are speaking to is also willing to hear what they have to say. Perhaps they are confused on some issues, and knowing the truth could set them free.
Whatever goes on, just ask God to give you the opportunity to speak to them about Jesus in a relaxed, non-intrusive manner, and ask Him to give you the words to do it with kindness and respect.
God bless you for your concern!

There deceived. Here's a quote that I really like, "Always preach the Gospel, and sometimes use words." - ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI you can't argue your family into the kingdom, you can display what it means to be saved through your actions. Remember St. Paul said, "Faith without works is dead". If you live your life in complete submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ the fruit will follow. After time and a lot of prayer, God will tug at their hearts stronger and stronger. This builds patience. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all the rest will follow.

Get them to watch Joyce Meyer on tv or buy one of her teaching tapes and let them listen. Joyce is so down to earth and so cool that you can't help but listen to her and the way she teaches just plain makes sense. Being saved is only believing that Jesus died for our sins. Acting like a true Christian i.e. following in Jesus' footsteps is an entirely different matter. The best way to witness is to act, speak, walk, live according to how the bible teaches us. If they see how happy and fullfilled and Graceful and awesome you feel and how peaceful you have become, they will want to know how you got that way and will want it too.

You're worried about what God will think of your family when they die? Some Christians have a very strange notion of what a loving God is. If your family has God in their heart and in their thoughts, which apparently they do, there is nothing to worry about, God will accept them with an open heart. In the meantime, don't panic, we are being led out of chaos, not into it.
