I have a 41/2 old month kitten and i have noticed in the past couple days that is has been urinating (something i think its blood but not sure) on clothes and mats. Other than this he has seemed normal, he is eating good drinking playing. Pretty much healthy other then this peeing. I dont no what is wrong with him and its making me scared. I brought him to the vet but they dont no what is wrong either.
can someone help me??

1. Change your vet! A vet should always be able to tell what the problem is.

2. Does your cat urinate very often?

3. It's probably an urine infection that could be cured with a shot and/or oral pills.

Did the vet take a urine sample? Sounds like a kidney or bladder infection. Sounds like you need a new vet...that one must not know much if they sent you away with NO diagnosis or not even an idea about a diagnosis. Next time you bring him, request a urine sample if the vet does not do one.

Your kitten may have a problem where crystals form in its urinary track due to the magnesium in its food. The crystals can cause bloody, frequent urination. Your veterinarian can set you up with special food that prevents the crystals. Also, sometimes cats get upset when their litter box isn't clean enough or other cats are using theirs. Make sure the box is kept clean and you have one for each cat.

Absolutely take that kitten to a different vet! It definitely sounds like blood in the urine, which would be odorless (the blood would be). That is not normal under any circumstances! He needs attention immediately! Don't risk losing him....

Take it to a different vet. Sounds pretty obvious that your kitty has a bladder infection. Take it to a good vet that will do a culture of a sample of the urine.

Talk to a different Vet or a cat breeder, that does not sound like an ignorable symptom.

She could be in heat or most likely have a urinary tract infection. If your regular vet doesn't know go get a 2nd opinion. If they still don't know. If your vets don't know your pretty much screwed. good luck.

If that was my animal, I would take it to the vet ASAP. You do not have the expertise to make a value judgement. If you do nothing you pet could get very sick.

It sounds like a urinary tract infection, take him to another vet.
