Everyone has a Choice in life......It's called Free Will
It is what separtes us from the animals who act on instinct alone...
Then why is it that You can not take the blame for yourself
the circumstances surrounding you are not a fault for your decisions in life.........You can chose to change or not
Why the need to cast the stones that are laying around your feet....it is so easy to blame someone else when in fact WE all have made our beds and some choose to sleep in them........
Sin is to Blame
We are all as Filthy Rags are we not?
Not One is Better than the other
We will all be judged
God is not to Blame

You are absolutely right! If you have a problem with your life you have the choice to fix it. God gave us free will for a reason, to use it! Not to blame everything that goes wrong in our lives on Him without ever actually letting Him take over. No one is any better than anyone else. We are ALL sinners. Which is why I have a problem when people say other denominations are wrong and going to hell. They sinned! Well so did we! How is it that we are so blind to our own sins but so accusing of others?

For the record, it's more conscious thought than free will that makes us different from other creatures.

I don't think it's very fair to entirely lay the blame of some unfortunate mishap on someone. There are ALWAYS some uncontrolable factors. Granted, it is foolish to say the blame lies entirely upon someone else, but just keep in mind that free will may not be as free as you think.

That is the silliest statement. No one is in full control of their fate. Some are born to rich loving families in perfect health. Some are borne decrepit and with no one who cares the least for them. Which will live the stile life you see as godly.

Actually, NO

WE are ALL not filthy rags. Christians are "pure" through the Blood of Christ.

Unbelievers are filthy rags. Atheists are scriptural scoffers. (Psalms 1.1-3) BIG difference.

No. Christians will not be judged. We are Judged now. unbelievers will be judged. Christians will be at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Not the Great White Throne of Judgment.

Spoken like someone who has never really had to make a choice or has never had an unfortunate event occur in their life.

Sometimes bad things happen through no fault of the person involved. Sometimes these are called acts of god. These are incorrectly named however, god does not exist

Tell the kids at the Special Olympics that their conditions are caused by their sin. Bad crap happens for no reason, because there really is no magic guy in the sky looking out for everything.

Free will isn't even a coherent concept.

Actually "god" is to blame...but only if you believe in him. Didn't he place the source of temptation in the garden? Didn't god, who is all powerful, allow the serpent in the garden? Your god gave "free will" and then punished every generation "created" for using it.

The truth is: we are all individually responsible for both our own happiness and misery. You're life, here on earth, is very short. Value what you have, because outside of books, and delusions, you have no guarantees of anything else later.
