Obviously many people on this Yahoo! answers thing are here purely to instigate hate and publicly display their ignorance and arrogance. I ask for those of you who seek real dialogue not to reply, answer or give these people any kind of reply b/c it only encourages them to go on. And i know many of em will reply to this but ignore them they don't even deserve the energy of your typing, b/c they will not change. And hopefully they'll just give up and get a life. =)

I would like to hope there could be some sharing going on...i mean out of the many questions asked i do find some real questions that are insightful. But i dont expect these people to ever go away i just thought i'd like them to know their "questions" serve no purpose and we wont give you our attention anymore.

I agree with you...there are some questions on here that are not real questions and they are just put here to incite hate and to offend others of every religion....some are just plain nonsense and they seem to be by kids who are just having fun....but yet I see so many people answer them any way knowing they are a joke or hateful and not really wanting an answer....I try to just ignore that kind of question and move on past them.....if we all did as you say then we might be able to have some real sharing going on......but will it happen ...I don't think so......

Lotus is a symbol of a religion, for a good reason too. It signifies the essence of 'search' & 'seeking' through any means including dialogue, knowledge, and its impact ! This flower comes best in slush, the deeper the slush, the better the flower, and the flower remains clean though right in the middle of the slush !

I understand how you feel. I actually come to this section to help people learn the truth about spiritual things, and hopefully guide them away from God and religion altogether so they can lead happier lives.
You should see some of the vulgar perverted sickening replies I receive from religious people, but then I understand that these people suffer from mental illness and lack of intelligence, and so, perhaps their behaviour, although irrational, has a rational explanation. I hope the following helps ease your pain and suffering.
Atheists are more intelligent than religious believers.
My own observation and analysis of the various posters on Yahoo Answers clearly reveals that Atheists are without any doubt, far more intelligent, thought provoking, and capable of holding sensible debate compared to their religious counterparts.
My private research studies indicate that religious people tend to be below average intelligence, and also have a tendency to be more violent than non-believers. This also seems to be supported by profiling various YA religious posters.
Science suggests that religion is a mental illness and that religious people act irrationally because they are genetically predisposed to the “religious or spiritual” gene. Statistics indicate that the higher your education, income, and intelligence, the more likely you are not to believe in a god.
In general terms, this summarises as Atheists are intelligent and religious people suffer from madness.

The creativity in some of the rudeness is amazing!
