I have been coloring my hair since I was 8...I have no idea what my natural color is, so I am letting it grow out.

Any of you out there with the same experience? What's your story?

My hair started going grey when I was around 25. I had been dying it red or dark brown or whatever color and noticed sparkled roots. I tried to get color that would blend in with the grey...nothing worked so I cut it off-SUPER SHORT!!! it looked cool. I wore it dykey short for a couple years, now im growing it out, long and prematurely grey, looks cool-so Im told.

I let my hair grow from a short bob to a longer style. It took three years. I now color my hair but have to be careful because my hair dries out so fast. I like to swim and the chlorine mixed with the coloring makes my hair very brittle and dry. I don't know about letting my natural color grow out. My natural color is changing to a different color if you know what I mean. Good luck and be patient!

Depends a lot on heredity and the care you take with hair(rhyme not intended!). Quality of water with which you wash hair, for eg., can slow down or accelerate growth: so also the shampoo, hair tonic and even some nutritional items. Average growth across the board, is about half inch a month, in average health conditions.

It depends on your hair, eggs are good to use in your hair they provide great protein for it,so does beer !!! Depends upon how long you want it to grow out. I wanted mine long. Down to the middle of my back from just above my shoulders. It took 3 yrs. The trick I used was, only trim it very slightly every 6 months. You figure your hair grows 1/2 inch every month. That's 6 inches a year. You can kinda guess how long it will take from that.

There are many methods to make our hair grow faster, shine , glitter in natural ways without using chemicals. Learn here https://bitly.im/aMK3c Men, and sometimes women, notice that their hair is thinning prematurely for several different reasons. Age, menopause, pregnancy, genetics, illness, and other factors all play a role in hair loss. Sure, you can use drugs or you can go in for a hair transplant or fusion, but sometimes the easiest, most inexpensive solution, is to try to stop hair loss naturally.

Here's my theory:
(though not from my own personal experience--just the experiences of others)

I suggest seeing a good stylist after the roots grow out enough for he/ she to get a glimpse of your natural hair color (about 5 weeks). Then match the shade and have your hair colored to match your natural hue. And get a good cut. That way you will not have a two-tone head of hair for most of a year.

my hair is almost to my waist
so the trick is
about 2 trims a year of about half an inch
it takes about 4-5 years
and i will never cut or colour it again
when i got frustated and impatient and had second thoughts i would just buy new shampoo or conditioner (trial sizes) no big ones
my favorite is Pantene Classic shampoo and Conditioner-and my blow dryer on low setting
