My kids have been on the 'net since they were old enough to sit up. I think it's a great tool as long as they are carefully monitored and guided. so much information! How incredibly fortunate they are to have so much at their fingertips immediately, and enough to filter and learn from!

Definetly yes. Internet is information and information is knowledge. But take care to prevent the child from getting eye strain and also from adult sites.

sure as long as were not looking up or signing up on websites that we need to pay..i mean imma kid an i just go on asiantown.net (im hmong)(asian) so i gusse its good for only some kids..
