I have a few movies on my computer and I want to put them on DVDs to save hard drive space. I'm having trouble doing this so any advice would be helpful and appreciated.

if you want them to be readable in a dvd player... then you need burning software like nero... if you just want to store the files then use windows to burn a data disk... that way it will free up space and when you want to watch them... just throw them in the comp and watch them... but i would make more than one copy... "if you love it back it up"

I just bought a DVD burner, and it came with Nero Burning, a software package capable of making a VCD/DVD disk capable of being used in a DVD player. Some DVD players can read a MPEG files. I have not made a VCD/DVD yet, but I plan on it in the future. According to the docs for Nero Burning, it can do it.

Open iTunes, and bypass to "record" then "upload to Library" discover the record and choose it, after it copies it iTunes will convert it to play. If if would not right away, top-click the record (in iTunes) and click the Convert button.
