I am nearing the end of my pregnancy and I recently asked about natural ways to induce but I took all your advice and just didn't take anything well at 6 o'clock this morning I started having pains like I was getting my period and so I took some pain killers and had a bath and a nap. Now I am losing blood for my privates and the pains are just like they were before - pretty much every 10 minutes. Not hurting alot yet but they are diffinitely there. Do you think I might be in labor??? I have 2 children already but both had to be induced with the oxyticin drip due to an irritable uterus and neither of them did I have any bleeding - this is mucusy too (sorry tmi). I am nervous about what is happening and scared to call my dr cos I have been in and out of hospital so many times since 25 weeks with the irritable uterus and false labor. so plz HELP!!!

I took panadol - a paracetamol - that's what my dr told me to take when the irritable uterus plays up.

I took your advice and went to the hospital and they said it might be a slight bleed from the placenta but that it was fine as they couldn't see any blood in the vagina now. Then they said to come back if the pains get worse or the bleeding gets worse. They said that the cervix was closed too.
Oh, well, but today I am cleaning my house like you wouldn't believe. And I can't stop!!!!!! I tried to sit down before for a rest and then I noticed other things that need doing so I get up and do them, - I am supposed to be on modified bedrest where I can do a little but no heaving lifting - including my kids - they are at my mum's to give me a rest. Usually Mum comes over to help but cos I went to hospital last night they slept there.

Well, i am still having pains like i am getting my period and they said that the babies head has engaged but not to get excited yet.
Hopefully, something will happen soon.

Call your ob and get checked out before you have that baby in the bathroom.

I have no idea what labor feels like (I had a c-seection because my pelvis was too narrow), but there should not be blood. Go to the ER, what's the worst they could do, send you home? They'd think you were more crazy if you didn't come in, rather than come in every day. Be cautious, this is your baby's life. Just go :)

If you are worried, you should contact the hospital immediately. If you have a condition that you need special care for, you should seek that care, no matter how many times it causes a false alarm. If your doctor ignores your concerns, get another one, he is your doctor, but you are his patient, if he doesn't listen to you, then he isn't going to be able to treat you properly, as it is your body, and who knows your body best than you!

hun i know its scary & to tell you the truth im not a mother & i've never been pregnant but i know alot about it beacuse i've been threw it with my best friend & i know u should seriiously contact ur doctor it doesnt matter how many times u've been there thats whut they're there for & you need to see a doctor, Good luck in the future hun.<3

plz go to the doctor or at least call going to the hospital isnt a big deal if it means your baby is going to be safe!!! just go to the hospital and call you doctor right away !

Yes you are probably in labor sounds like you lost your mucos plug also called bloody show.Pick up the phone and call your doctor.

Pain killers? What kind? I would say go to the doc. You ahould never bleed at all. And with mucus? go right away
