I think we are no longer sticking to just the facts we are letting emotions take over and personnel opinion and that is not what this forum is about are at least I don't think so. If we could all just stick to the facts and evidence that we can back up with links or other resource and leave all of our own bias opinions at home--and it my not turn into a cat fight every night -- I have noticed that we have lost a lot of members that use to be on for a few min every night and now we are no longer seeing them.. It's just something to think about that's all I'm asking

Your question is not very clear, but I think I have understood you to ask why is it that when an anti-legal person asks a question, the pro-legal people use it to insult the anti-legal. Well, maybe you should check some of the legitimate questions of the pro-legals. There are racist comments, threats, insults, and general mudslinging on both parts. This forum is stupid because no one wants to actually discuss the issues. It's either, "Get them wetbacks outta here," or, "You whiteys are lazy and ignorant and we can invade your country as much as we want and there is nothing you can do about it."

Why not ask a question like, "Why don't anti-legals understand they are supporting a system that exploits desperate people from around the world, mostly from South and Central America and Mexico, and excluding poor people around the world who don't have the option of sneaking across the border or enough money to qualify for a student, business, or tourist visa that they can overstay?"

Gidget, I get personal hate mail with the most vile garbage you could ever read. I very rarely see that kind of adult content from the anti illegal side. These are usually from the same people who complain and whine about racism but they never hesitate to call names that are racist towards whites and put disgusting sexual connotations with them. You don't do that and that's why I take you seriously but the other pro illegals here, not all but some, I don't care what they think because they can't have a mature conversation and they are unable to refrain from doing what I just described, which to me indicates typical criminal mentality.

Haha. After reading the answers you got I could not help but laugh, both sides believe the other side attacks first, and more often. Both sides believe the other side is spreading lies, and misinformation.... Hmmm. Only one side can be right. After looking at all the information presented, I know which side it is, and have made it perfectly clear which side I support.

Gidget, I'm just amazed and dumbfounded that you'd advocate breaking our immigration laws, period. We need the border fence built, and support from actual bona-fide citizens to see to it that it actually gets done, and that good solid lawyer-proof legislation gets passed that'll bring an end to this whole charade. If people want to work and live in the United States, fine, but let them apply LEGALLY and not just try to assume 'squatters rights' etc. Many millions have emigrated to our country in the past, but they've done it legally. 'They stole our land' and so forth are specious arguments, I really hope that Congress can see through the bullshit on this one and fix the border, and I wish they'd do it sooner, rather than later...

Everybody is entitled to their opinion some feel more strongly about certain topics than others but you are correct it could be stated in a better way. Some of the questions are asked with attitude also have you thought about that?

Because this is only the medium in which they can air out what they really feel, becuase in real life if you voice out your
anti-illegal tactics you will be a handed a white sheet and some clorox plus a horse to boot..

I can honestly say almost every pro-ILLEGAL in here insults those of us who actually make an intelligent, reasonable TRUE argument.
Maybe not all of them but the majority. You have definately been one of the worst. So why you would open yourself up for this is uncomprehendable. But thanks for the chance to offer a reasonable answer without one insult thrown.

The pro's often start it. Just take a look at posts.

Insults are not persuasive from either side, however.

I get called a racist all the time on these boards, but I'm not.
