where (online or retail) can i get a good deal on 9mm ammo. I dont mind buying in bulk...Im paying $7.99/box of 50 right now. Is there surplus ammo out there? please state where and how much and any info(grains/manufacturer/etc.)

Ammo caliber .9mm is probably the most common & abundant found world-wide. Try places like www.cheaperthandirt.com.
Academy stores also sell it cheaply. Look for the specials. Don't miss the gun shows where some vendors also sell in bulk.

try cabelas or basspro online. it's the standard 115 grain ball ammo for fairly cheap.
