So, I checked out the question you asked that prompted this question. The answers were pretty good. So, it seems to me, it isn't the cat so much, as it is you. Are you trying to reach out and tell someone you are having a really bad day? And I can see you are. So, for what it's worth Barb, it matters to many of us that you are sick and chemo is no picnic. The American Cancer Society might be able to help you with your cat's medical needs. Ask them. Also, I would like to ask you if you are prepared for eternity. Whether chemo is succcessful or not, you still need to have the answer to that question. At least that is one thing your cat will never need to answer.

Some people don't read your other question (or know how to get to it). Ask the cancer society people who you can contact with help for your pets. Or contact your local human society .sometimes there are people who will help with vet bills and transporting your cat to and from the vet. Survivors of cancer sometimes Will assist in this matter. Just ask or make a few calls and see how much help you can get. Good luck and best wishes some of us are thinking of you and your pet kitty!

I agree. Most of the responds on your other Q were caring. Remember money can't buy happiness. And even if you had money to go to the vet it may not help. The vets do the best they can but sometimes its time to let go.
Good luck on the chemo.

I feel that everyone does his best with those whom he loves .. I am sure you did your best .. sometimes we have to let go of those we love .. I know the feeling
all there is now is just try to take care of yourself and consentrate on your chemo .. and I wish you all the best and good luck
hope you'll be back to health soon

Have you tried talking to any of the vets in your area about a payment plan or something? I understand they have to make money, but a vet that really cares isn't going to want to see an animal in pain and suffering-especially if it's not that serious. Good luck to you......

I am pleased that you take care of your cat so well. I had to put mine to sleep at 16..It was so hard for me as I gave it a very good life and I am sure that the cat that I had appreciated all of it.
