Start off by asking your dog to earn all the good things that he gets, including breakfast and dinner, time on the couch, and going out the front or back door. He doesn't have to do much to earn it, maybe as simple as doing a trick or even just sitting, but he should be expected to do something before he gets any kind of goodies. Think of it as asking him to "say please".

Here's an article about this approach, often called Nothing In Life Is Free:

Depending where you live, there should be trainers available
locally. Sign up for a class after making sure they use reward-based training and deal with behavior (why your dog does what it does and how to re-direct them).

In the meantime, praise the behavior you want and ignore the behavior you don't...give your dog a toy or chewie to redirect the behavior to an appropriate one.

I don't think he is spoiled. He/she thinks they are the pack leader. You need be pack leader for your dog to listen to you. Try reading a Ceasar Milan book or watching the show The Dog Whisper for tips. He makes a good point across on his show.
