There is a fundimental flaw in your answer (the god perfection thing) You claim duality is the reason, there can't be perfection without a standard to measure it against (namely imperfection). That rules out the possibility of god creating the universe... if there is to be duality he must have simply always co-existed with it... the yin to his yang if you will. Are you saying that god wasn't perfect until he created the universe?

By your account God himself is imperfect. A perfect being would need nothing at all. Perfection is just that, completeness... If god needs to create something simply to have love that is a flaw, hence god is imperfect.

I thought god created everything... even satan. Didn't he create the heaven and the angels? Isn't satan merely a fallen angel? Which begs the question if he created angels with free will why continue to create men who are even more imperfect than angels?

Nobody seems to really understand this question. It's an existential paradox... you aren't going to explain it away with anything in the bible.

Wow, all these Christians answering you seem woefully ignorant of Isaiah 45:7. And I'm not even a Christian...for shame...

He didn't. He created everything perfect on this Planet and then sin entered thru the choices made by Adam And Eve and THEY willfully surrendered it all away. It's called he created perfect free moral agents who chose to do wrong and when they did they destroyed the perfection. Is that hard to understand?
What you see is not as real as God. What you see should prove to you their is a God. If you try and tell me we just became without a creator then you need to go rethink some things. Ask an athiest How the whole universe came about to exist and I mean every galaxy and every star, also the ones still forming. Ask how the earth has one set speed it to turn and one set speed to rotate around the sun. Also the sun is just at the right distance for life to be sustained here on earth which includes billions of diverse lifeforms (That according to athiest just popped out of nowhere or crawled out of the Ocean). Where did the Ocean come from then?. Also ask them to get an empty glass and set it up in their house and go back to the glass 20 or 30 years or more if needed and see whats in it..........you know what would be in it? Still nothing. You have to have a Creator and it scares them. Also for the big bang theory supporters........where did the material that went bang come from and the energy to make it go BANG? I'll tell you God created it and he may have made a "BIG BANG" out of it to put it where he wanted it. I won't dispute that because the Universe is still expanding. All in all the athiests have to many questians to explain themselves that the Bible already explains. I'd rather believe there is a God and die and if there isn't I lose nothing but if there is and I've argued to people he isn't then I would lose alot. Think it over friend. Are you really sure about denying God?

I don't believe that God creates imperfection. God made us with free will and unfortunately we don't always make the right decisions. I believe in a Heaven and a Hell and Good and Evil. When we sin, we open the door to the enemy (Satan), who then has the right to create these imperfections in our lives. If your question is concerning a deeper situation, then I'm not sure that anyone has the answer for you but God himself. May God Bless You.

Who said God created imperfection. God is a perfect being. The devil, through an incomprehensible series of actions and thoughts, generated evil by himself because of pride. He became jealous of God, and wanted to be just like God. But a created being could not be God, who always was, is, and ever will be, all powerful. God did not create an imperfect Lucifer, but created a perfect being with a free choice of will. The resulting selfishness has created the problems seen in this world, which fell to the lies and manipulations of Satan.

Good question and good point. Even according to the Bible (for believers) God is far from perfect, that's why the Bible is frequently changed to keep up with humanity. In summary, the Bible is nothing but rubbish.
The Bible is the biggest load of garbage and codswallop ever written by man, and I’m sure it will go down in history as the greatest load of gobbledygook ever to inflict such traumatic mental and physical damage on humanity, but still today, some people sadly believe the Bible to be true. That’s very sad indeed. Very sad.
When people quote various passages from the Bible, for example ...
Mathew 5:29-30 God encouraged self-mutilation.
Isaiah 13:15-18 God allowed women raped and little children slaughtered.
Genesis 6:11-17 and 7:11-24 God is the greatest mass murder in history.
What happens? Religious people pop up from under every stone with the same old garbage. “That was the old Bible, or we’ve changed the meaning, or wrong interpretation, or we’ve changed the context, or the quotes are out of context or or or, excuse after excuse.”
The fact is, they are Bible quotes, and the Bible is full of evil atrocities which religious people continually cover up, yet seem happy to drum into the minds of gullible little children. This is such a shameful disgrace in a civilised world.
If religious people are unable to apply commonsense and logic to develop a simple moral code to live by, then perhaps they could strip out of the Bible the evil, murders, rapes, abuse, and all traumatic references. Granted there will not be a lot left to read, but at least religious people may end up with a decent moral code to follow based on good, and not scare the living daylights out of innocent little children.

Ufff.... long answers you´re expecting...
I´ve heard duality was created by God in this plane of illusion. The illusion of being separate from God, enforces the union, meaning the love, because you have to regain it, find it again, create it again (the love). So imperfection (which comes with duality, good-bad, ugly-pretty, perfection-imperfection) is a must be in this world. And experiencing duality and the strife to go back to realizing union increases the love in the universe.
Makes sense?

I think god had to create imperfection because everything has to have a balance. With good come evil, with love comes hate, etc. etc. Also, Isn't the original story that everything, at first, was perfect, and then humans messed it all up for themselves by being "tempted"? Also, maybe he created imperfection so Jesus would stand out as a perfect being among imperfect men. Not too familiar with religion, so I'm just taking an educated guess.

On the higher scheam of things, there are no imperfections. In this world there are several universal laws, like gravity for example. One of those laws is duality. I believe you can. Experiencing some pain in part of life and its part of the big duality of this universe. How could you know what is hot, if you didn't know what cold is?? How can you experience wealth, if you don't know what poverty is??
However. the wiser you get the less you need to experience a bad feeling if you keep you vibrations, thought, actions, and words positive. You will just remember those negative things/thougth, and immediately think of something positive to even it out and to not bring it in your current experience.
I don't know if you have heard about the Law of Attraction, but it basically says that what we vibrate we bring into our reality. Have you notice those people that are always complaining, they are ussually broke or they are always expericing negative events? If we think, talk, act negatively, we attract negative experiences. So the trick is to always think, act, talk, and specially feel good. Enven you don't actually feel good, just visualizing a pleasant event and feeling it in your body will make you feel better.
Ok..its getting late!! Cheers

Perfection is God. Man however is not. If you believe in the creation story of Adam and Eve, perfection stopped when Eve was tempted and Adam followed along. I can hear your argument, "but he created humans impectfect!" God did not want "robots" that would blindly love him, humans are the only creation that he created with an awareness of themselves and the world. Therefore, humans have self will to choose whether they want to serve God or rebel like Eve did. Even lucifier, was an archangel who also had a choice and decided that he could be better than God. We humans are created in the "image of God" however because of our "sin" nature, perfection will not happen until death; and then the perfect nirvana occurs in the kingdom of GOD!!

God never created imperfection in man because man is a physically perfect design, it is mans actions and words he speaks that are imperfect.
