I have been practicing South Shaolin Kung-FU and Muay Thai Kick boxing for the past 13 years & I love it, and yeah anyone who has extensive training in combative martial arts, their hands can be considered deadly weapons.

You are not asking a question, so i will ask some. Who registered your hands as weapons? Do you need a license to carry them? That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of.
What advantage is there to this? People that do this are usually on a big ego trip.

I specialize in Hung Gar C'huan Gung Fu and Bujinkan Ninpo Taijutsu....

but I've played with a lot more, BJJ, Muay Thai, Yoshinkan Aikido, etc etc...

And as for you hands being considered "deadly weapons"...give me a break dude. Sure, a knowledge by the courts of your training gives you a definitive disadvantage in terms of legal stacking....but no one gets their hands defined as "weapons."

I really hope your Shihan isn't feeding you that b.s., because if he is...shame on him. He should really just study local and state laws, it'd be better for his students if that's the case.

i've studied mma style fighting for a few years now, since i met my hubby, whose been doing it for 23 years now... i study western style boxing and dirty boxing strikes, muay thai, submissions grappling, jkd trapping, escrima & krav maga...

but my primary art that i specialize in is yang style taijiquan, which is my favorite...

i understand where you're coming from.. here in new mexico, martial arts instructors and professional boxers have to have their hands and feet register with the state police as 'lethal weapons,' my hubby thought it was kinda rediculous when he had to get it done in order to teach, but oh well...
