I have an extremely high metabolism and so does my mom (I got it from her). We eat a lot and don't gain any weight. And let me tell you, you do NOT age faster. My mother is 47 and EVERYONE calls her "forever 21" because she still looks like she's 21! Honest! OMG I am so amazed at how she looks. However, though she is drop dead gorgeous on the outside, she complains of being tired often. She gets tired doing simple things like driving or watching tv. Also she is forgetful and her mind is pretty slow. I don't know if that has anything to do with her high metabolism though. I know she used to be extremely intelligent when she was younger (she was usually the top student in her class), but u would never know from speaking to her now. I feel sorry for her sometimes. She has the knowledge of a 4th grader. She is so slow at understanding things that it just saddens me and angers me that I have to put up with being patient with her when she was so cruel to me when I was younger. I don't know what happened to her mind, but the women in our family have always had a fast metabolism and are very thin.

then you may have something a bit more serious than just a high metabolism....you need to go see a doctor.

some people can't gain weight no matter what they do....however, I wouldn't consider that bad. I would love to be that way.
